About Us
Maharashtra Girls' Education Society's Huzurpaga Late Sou. Ashwini Arun Deosthale Pre-Primary English Medium School was started in 2010. School plays an important role in child's overall development. We are conducting various programmes and activities for all round development of the students.
- Initially we introduced Pre-writing skills like pattern writing, writing on the slates, lacing, puzzles etc.
- Some readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition etc. in a purposeful manner.
- Some art and craft activities, sand activities, free play, indoor and outdoor play etc.
- Some activities to develop fine motor skills like stringing the beads, scribbling, Maida dough, paper crumpling, paper tearing, finger printing etc.
- Some food activities to give them hand on experience like making bhel, fruit chat, sandwich making, roti making etc.
- Innovative methods are used in the classrooms to enhance the students’ communication skill.
- Along with the academics, emphasis is also given on health care and personal hygiene.
- Regular Interactive Parent-Teacher meetings are conducted where the monthly progress and problems are discussed and solved.

Deepotsav Celebration
The air was filled with excitement and joy as the Pre-Primary section gathered to celebrate Deepotsav, the festival of Deepavali, on 25th October 2024. The school premises shimmered with colorful decorations and various types of diyas, capturing the true essence of the festival of lights. The honorable committee members of M.G.E. Society, along with the principals of the Laxmi Road and Katraj sections, lit the diyas to mark the celebration. Children and their parents enjoyed various activities, including rangoli making, festive art, and a vibrant Deepotsav celebration.
Diwali Celebration
Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with joy at our school on 24th October 2024. Teachers shared the significance of Diwali, highlighting its symbolism of light over darkness and good over evil. A potter was invited to guide students in a pottery activity, where they enthusiastically created and decorated diyas. The festivities beautifully showcased each day of Diwali, including Vasubaras, Dhantrayodashi, Narakchaturdashi, Laxmipujan, Padwa, Bhaubeej, and Tulsivivah, enriching the festive spirit. Both teachers and students enjoyed celebrating together, and everyone was treated to delicious faral to make the occasion even more special.
White Colour Day
We celebrated White Colour Day on 16th October, 2024. The students looked wonderful in their white-colored attire. They were shown various white-colored objects such as a white teddy bear, rabbit, snowman, ambulance, radish, and many others. The children also participated enthusiastically in various activities throughout the day.
Kojagiri Pournima Celebration
On Wednesday, 16th October 2024, we celebrated Kojagiri Pournima in our section. The word "Kojagiri" means "who is awake," emphasizing the tradition of staying up throughout the night to offer prayers and seek the blessings of the goddess. Kojagiri Pournima, also known as Sharad Purnima, is a special Hindu festival that falls on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Ashwin month. This day is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. To make the celebration memorable, we also prepared masala milk, which was enjoyed by all our students Children loved the delicious Prasad!
Khandenamavi, Paati Pujan, and Dussehra Celebration
1)Students actively participated in the Khandenamavi Puja, dedicated to the worship of weapons (teaching aids) and Goddess Saraswati. This ceremony emphasized the respect we give to the tools that facilitate education.
2)Students also took part in the Paati Pujan, where "Paati" means slate, and "Pujan" refers to worship. A Sri Saraswati Yantra, symbolizing Goddess Saraswati, was drawn on the slate, followed by a prayer to invoke her blessings.
3)Dussehra, an integral part of our celebration, provided students with a unique opportunity to engage with our rich cultural heritage while participating in fun-filled activities. Through discussions and presentations, children learned that Dussehra isn’t just about watching the effigies of Ravana burn, but also a time to reflect on the virtues of truth, courage, and righteousness. Teachers facilitated conversations about the significance of these values in the classroom and in everyday life, encouraging students to carry them forward in their academic and personal journeys. To mark the occasion, mithai (sweets) were distributed to all.
National Postal Day
National Postal Day, celebrated on October 10th, commemorates the rich history and enduring significance of our postal service. On this occasion, we were shown materials on letter writing and a PPT presentation highlighting the valuable contributions of the postal system. We salute the unsung heroes of India’s postal service.
Say No to Plastic Activity
The "Say No to Plastic" activity aimed to raise awareness on the importance of reusing, reducing, and recycling waste materials. The activity highlighted the environmental impact of single-use plastics, which disproportionately contribute to pollution. Students were encouraged to consider alternatives to everyday plastic items like bottles and wrappers and reflect on how individual actions can help reduce plastic waste. As part of the activity, students created "Plastic Monsters" to visually represent the negative effects of plastic pollution and inspire positive change.
Bhondla Celebration
On Friday, 4th October 2024, we celebrated Bhondla in our section. Bhondla, which begins on the first day of Navaratri and continues until Kojagiri Purnima, is a festival deeply connected to nature. It is celebrated after the rains of the Hasta Nakshatra, which nourish the earth and bring good crops. Bhondla is essentially a thanksgiving ritual that honors nature for its prosperity. To mark this occasion, we placed a picture of an elephant at the center, adorned with a garland of flowers. Teachers and students came together to sing traditional Bhondla songs. Each child brought a unique snack in their tiffin, inviting friends to recognize the item by listening to its sound. The celebration ended by sharing and enjoying the 'khirapat' together.
Mhatma Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti
On 1st October, we celebrated the birth anniversaries of two great leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, to raise awareness among the children about their values and principles. Through discussions, the children learned about their profound impact on India and were encouraged to embody the values of kindness, respect, and teamwork with their classmates.
2nd October - Foundation Day Celebration
Our school, M.G.E.S's Huzurpaga, proudly celebrated its 140th Foundation Day with great excitement.This day holds special significance every year as it marks the establishment of the school and commemorates its journey towards excellence in education. It was a truly memorable occasion, with the Principal, children, teachers, and the entire staff coming together to celebrate the school's birthday. Sweets were distributed to the children in honor of Foundation Day.
International Music Day
In our Pre-Primary section On 1st October 2024 we celebrated International Music Day. A day to appreciate the way that music can bring people together. Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.
Shloka competition
A Shloka competition was held on 9th September 2024 to highlight the importance of shloka recitation. Students performed confidently and fluently on the following topics-

Pink Day Celebration
Our Pre-Primary school celebrated Pink Colour Day on 30th September 2024 with lots of joy as students arrived dressed in various shades of pink colour.Providing the students opportunities to have a clear sense of the colour and its importance. The tiny tots were given a understanding about pink colour through fun filled activities.
Ganpati Celebration
Festivals promote feelings of social cohesion and communal harmony. Echoing this sentiment, the Pre-Primary section celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 5th September 2024. The festivities began with the traditional aarti and the chanting of "Ganapati Bappa Morya." Ganesh Visarjan marks the final act of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, where the idol of Lord Ganesh is immersed in water. The immersion is often accompanied by a grand procession with music, dance, and the chant “गणपती बाप्पा मोरया, पुढच्या वर्षी लवकर या,” reflecting both joy and a sense of farewell. Each class engaged in activities related to the Ganesh Festival.
Teachers' Day Celebration
Teachers' Day was celebrated in the Pre-Primary section on 5th September 2024. Students dressed as teachers and took on their roles, while teachers highlighted the significance of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's contributions to education. Principal Madam felicitated the teachers with Shrifal and flowers, making the day enjoyable for all.
Bail Pola Celebration
We celebrated Bail Pola on 2nd September 2024. The teacher explained that Pola is a festival where farmers worship bulls to express their gratitude. Our Principal Ma'am applied Tilak (औक्षण) of a bull idol along with the tiny tots. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activities arranged by the teachers.
Creative Parents' Competition
Creative Parents' Competition: A Fun and Skillful Event.The school organized a creative parents' competition to foster creativity and motivate children. The theme for the competition was greeting card-making for mothers and their daughters, and poster-making on the importance of books for fathers. The response from parents was excellent, showcasing their diverse skills. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event. Honorable Smt. Uma Gosavi Madam (Former Principal of Katraj Shishumandir) and Honorable Smt. Namrata Mehendele Madam (Principal of Katraj Shishumandir) judged the competition with great insight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
Orange Colour Day
Our Pre-Primary school celebrated Orange Colour Day on 30th August 2024 with excitement, as students arrived dressed in vibrant shades of orange. Engaging activities focused on the orange color and square shape were arranged, allowing children to learn through fun. The day was filled with creativity and joy.
Dahihandi Celebration
Dahihandi was celebrated on 26th August 2024 as Pustak Handi to encourage children to enjoy reading and develop an interest in books beyond academics. The celebration also aims to help schools build a strong library.
Deeppujan Celebration
Deeppujan was celebrated with joy at our preschool. Beautiful diyas were cleaned and used in the ceremony. The teacher explained the significance of this celebration to remove darkness, spread light, and symbolize knowledge and positivity. It was a meaningful and joyful celebration for everyone.
Storytelling Competition
Storytelling Competition Stories give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world. Competitions, in turn, are an excellent way to boost children's confidence. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted in our Pre-Primary section. The topics were very interesting this year: Freedom Fighters for Nursery, Mythology for Jr. KG, and Autobiography of Non-Living Things for Sr. KG. All the little ones thoroughly enjoyed the competition.
World Sanskrit Day Celebration
On World Sanskrit Day, our preschoolers explored the beauty of the Sanskrit language. They listened to and recited shlokas, learned a few simple words, and enjoyed stories and rhymes in Sanskrit. The celebration allowed our little ones to appreciate the richness of our cultural heritage in a fun and engaging way.
Rakshabandhan Celebration
On 16th August 2024, our students celebrated Rakshabandhan with great enthusiasm alongside soldiers. As part of the 'Rakhi for Soldiers' program, students tied rakhis to soldiers, fostering a sense of commitment towards their safety. This initiative aims to honor the spirit of protection and patriotism, reinforcing the bond between the students and the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation.
Independence Day and Pateti Celebration
At our Pre-Primary section we celebrated Independence Day and Pateti with great enthusiasm. Our little ones began the day by singing the national anthem and saluting the flag with great respect. They dressed up like Freedom Fighters and shared their thoughts.Senior K.G. girls performed dance on patriotic song.We also celebrated Pateti, the Parsi New Year. The children were introduced to Parsi traditions and learned about the importance of new beginnings.It was a joyful day, filled with fun activities and a spirit of unity, where our students learned the values of freedom and respect for different cultures.
World Elephant Day
We all love Elephants – the biggest mammals on the Earth. To celebrate their majestic beauty and to create awareness about their habitat and future, We celebrated the World Elephant Day on 12th August.
Nagpanchami Celebration
At our Pre-Primary section, we celebrated the Nagpanchami festival on 8th August 2024. A traditional Nagpanchami setup was displayed, and our teachers applied mehendi on the girls' hands. The children enjoyed playing on swings and participated in the traditional game of “fugadi.” Each class also engaged in activities related to the Nagpanchami festival.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak Punyatithi
Our school paid homage to the Late Bal Gangadhar Tilak by honoring and embracing his ideals of selfless service and national pride, contributing to our country and community. We commemorated his 104th death anniversary with reverence and gratitude. Students paid tribute to the great leader by joining their hands in respect.
Blue Colour Day
‘Blue Colour Day’ celebrated on July 31, 2024 with great zeal.Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence and truth.All the children came dressed up in different shades of blue. Activities centered around the colour blue can help children express their creativity, develop fine motor skills, and encourage imaginative play.
Fancy Dress Competition
A Fancy Dress Competition was held on Monday, 29th July 2024. The medium could not limit the creativity of parents, who dressed their children with bundles of imagination. The children participated with great enthusiasm, confidently displaying their speaking skills. Their innocent words and stage presence won the hearts of the judges and teachers alike. The competition proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students, giving them a platform to explore their hidden talents. Our tiny tots from Nursery performed on the theme Insects, Jr. KG girls performed on Vehicles, and Sr. KG girls showcased Parts of Plants.
International Tiger Day
The tiger is a symbol of beauty and strength, so "Save the tiger and save our nation's pride." On 29th July 2024, we celebrated International Tiger Day in our Pre-Primary section. The motive behind this celebration was to raise awareness about this magnificent yet endangered big cat.
Guru Pournima
Guru Pournima is celebrated to honor our teachers, who remove the darkness from student's minds. Teachers have held a special place in the lives of their followers since ancient times. An age-old Sanskrit phrase, ‘Mata Pitah Guru Daivam,’ states that the first place of honor is reserved for the Parants. To celebrate this, the school arranged a मातापूजन ceremony on this day. The mothers felt blessed and truly enjoyed the event.
Grandparents' Day
Grandparents Day was celebrated with great joy. Principal Ma'am and the teachers greeted the grandparents with flowers. The girls performed a heartfelt dance for their grandparents, and fun activities and games were organized for them to enjoy. A selfie point and a greeting card activity brought smiles to their faces. The grandparents expressed their gratitude to the school for organizing such a memorable event. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness
Kargil Vijay Diwas
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, our pre-primary school honored the brave soldiers of the Kargil War. Our students created heartfelt greeting cards for the soldiers of India, which were collected and delivered by Respected Mr. Darshan Wagh Sir. We also held a solemn homage to pay our respects to the martyrs. This event instilled a sense of patriotism and gratitude in our young students.
World Paper Bag Day
We celebrated 'World Paper Bag Day' on 12th July 2024 by making paper bags from reused old newspapers, showcasing creativity and artistic skills by decorating them. This day aims to raise awareness about the need to avoid using plastic bags and emphasizes the urgent need to eliminate them completely.
Palkhi Sohla at Pre-Primary Section
At our Pre-Primary section, we celebrated Palkhi Sohla with great joy. Our Principal, Smt. Savita Ankaikar madam worshipped the idols of Lord Vithhal and Rakhumai. The tiny tots enthusiastically participated in the celebration, dressing up as Warkaris, Vithoba, Rakhumai, and various saints. They carried Tulsi, tal, Palkhi, and flags, fully immersing themselves in the chants of abhangas, bhajans, and shlokas. Shri Landge Maharaj and his Warkari group accompanied the celebration with melodious instruments like the tal and mrunduga. Rajgira wadi was distributed as prasad to all the children. Children also enjoyed various activities. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and devotion.
Parent Session- ‘Say No to Plastic’
The school has organized a session for parents on June 29, 2024 (Saturday), titled 'Say No to Plastic,' by Smt. Aditi Deodhar. She advised that we must stop using harmful plastics, such as plastic tiffin and bottles, to promote a healthy lifestyle and protect future generations. The session raised awareness among parents about the adverse effects of plastic on their children.
Green Colour Day
June 28, 2024, was a vibrant day as students and teachers arrived in an array of green hues. Each student showcased and discussed their cherished green objects, participating in a series of fun activities.
Father’s Day Celebration
A father's love is shown, not just told."On 6th July 2024, the tiny tots of the pre-primary section celebrated the selfless devotion of their fathers. They were welcomed with delightful songs, and the air was filled with joyous melodies. Fathers and daughters alike enthusiastically participated in specially curated games organized by our teachers. Amidst smiles and laughter, each tiny tot presented their handmade greeting cards to their beloved fathers, expressing gratitude and love.
Yoga Day
In our pre-primary section, we celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21, 2024. The event introduced children to the benefits of yoga through fun and engaging activities. This year, we invited Dr. Bhavana Bhingare ma'am to take a yoga session for our kids. The kids participated in various yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices, promoting physical fitness and mental well-being. Dr. Bhavana Bhingare ma'am was our Celebrity of the Month.
Orientation Meeting
"A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school, and the child is the center of our universe. We organized an orientation program for the parents on 15th June 2024 in school. The aim was to familiarize the parents, as ‘partners in progress,’ with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies, and co-scholastic activities. Our Principal, Smt. Savita Ankaikar Madam, made parents aware of the importance of not using plastic tiffin boxes and water bottles.
Welcome
The beginning of a new session marks a new year of discovery, learning, growth, and fun! Little angels were welcomed with open arms, with a 'CANDY LAND' theme. The day started on a positive note with a prayer and melodious music. The school premises were beautifully decorated, and a selfie stand wasj placed for the kids to capture their beautiful smiling faces. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves by tapping their feet to the music.
The graduation ceremony
The Graduation ceremony began with a rally.
Children were welcomed to Amrutmahotsav hall where the grand ceremony commenced by the lighting of the lamp and the enchanting Saraswati Vandana.
Farewell dance performed by junior KG students added a touch of reverence.
Every student was honoured with Graduation certificates and medals symbolizing the successful completion of the Kindergarten program and their preparedness for Elementary School.
The event was a great success. It marked the ending of one chapter but symbolized the beginning of many more to come in the future.
Gudhi Padwa
We at our Pre-Primary section of English Medium celebrated the first day of Hindu New Year( Gudhi Padwa) on 8th April 2024.Our tiny tots welcomed new year by hosting Gudhi with our respected Committee members Smt. Rekha Palshikar, Smt. Madhura Joshi and Principal of Huzurpaga Pre Primary Mangadewadi Smt. Dipti Kulkarni who worshipped puja and added the importance to celebration. Smt.Asmita Limgire teacher explained the significance of hosting Gudhi.Girls were looking beautiful in traditional wear and enjoyed Amrakhand and Sakhar gathi as Prasad of Gudhi.
Night Stay
Night Camp or Night stay was organized for the students of Sr.KG on 6th April 2024.It was a unique and exhilarating experience for the young kids. The students enjoyed their independence and time away from home as they were kept gainfully engaged with a variety of fun-filled and supervised adventurous activities. Many activities like Mickey mouse bouncy,Puppet show,Music and dance. The students were served with scrumptious evening and night refreshments.Waking up in the morning together was just as much fun. The activity of day 2 was a Yoga session,Meditation and Nature walk.After a quick change of clothes, the students enjoyed healthy breakfast.The over night Stay was a day of bonding and of sweet and long-lasting memories, which would be engraved forever in the hearts of all.
Fun Week
We have ended our school year on a high note with our students by conducting different types of fun activities and games like Parachute game, tattoo on hands, Ice-cream party, Magic Show with Popcorn Party, Colourful Veggie Crunchy Salad , Doll House and Puppet Show with Summer Special Treats during fun week.Field Trip to Aba Bagul Garden and Seven Wonders Park was conducted and the last day of Fun week was ended with our Sr. KG girls Night Stay in school. Our kids had a lot of fun during this Fun Week. Caps, as a fun week gift was given to each and every child.
An Ice-cream party
Our tiny tots of pre-primary section were treated with a delightful ice-cream party to beat the summer heat & celebrate their joyous spirit on 1st April 2024.
The eyes of the kids gleamed with excitement as they eagerly waited for their favourite Mango ice-cream. An ice cream party was a great way for the students to cool & have some fun on a hot summer day. It was also a great way for them to socialize with their friends.
They also had fun of Parachute-ball game & story session. The first day of fun week was ended with full of enjoyment and enthusiasm.
Medical checkup
Medical checkup in school is an essential component of ensuring the overall health and well-being of students. We have arranged a medical checkup for our students on 06th February 2024 in our Pre-Primary section. The Medical checkup was connected by professional doctors team of Doctors Cell, Pune. They advised to keep eye on dental and ear health and also to give regular deworming medicine. By identifying and addressing these issues, students can receive appropriate medical care, leading to improved overall health.
Makarsankranti Celebration and Black colour day
In our pre primary section we celebrated Makarsankranti Festival on in the month of January 2024.This special festival signifies the conclusion of winter and arrival of fresh harvest season. With the help of display of traditional clay pots,kits,bornahan and sweets we explained the reason behind using jaggery in the sweets and the importance of flying kites. As the traditional colour of sankranti we also celebrated Black colour day and introduced diamond shape. Children enjoyed various activities of Makarsankranti and Black colour day, and they learnt to be open minded, tolerant and respectful towards each other and elders, embrace differences and importance of sharing.
Holi Celebration
Holi is known as the festival of colours. It is one of the most important festivals in India. We celebrated Holi in our Pre-Primary section on 22nd March 2024. The teachers narrated the mythological story of Holika, the importance of colours, and the significance of making Puranpoli on this occasion. The students enjoyed eating delicious and tasty Puranpolis. Children and teachers enjoyed Holi Puja and colours with zeal and enthusiasm. On the occasion of World Water Day, the importance of water was also explained to the students.
Purple Colour Day
Purple Day was celebrated in our Pre -Primary section on 15th March 2024, to make little kids aware about colours and how they add beauty to things around us. The colour 'Purple ' represents the future, imagination and dreams, was thoroughly enjoyed by our little ones.Children were given a thorough understanding about purple colour through fun filled activities like cutting pasting drawing and coloring . Purple colour things were displayed in our lobby and students and teachers were dressed up in purple colour . Oval shape was also introduced on this day.
Prize Distribution Ceremony
Our school has arranged "Prize Distribution Ceremony" on 2 nd March 2024.This is the most awaited event for winners and their parents. It encourages the inner talents and skills. Our tiny tots were appreciated by giving trophies and certificates for their achievements by our respected Chief Guests Dr.Sushama Keskar, Smt.Rekha Palshikar and Shri.Ramakant Sonawani sir. This motivational ceremony given lots of happiness and encouragement to our children.
Marathi Bhasha Diwas
On 27th February 2024, our school has celebrated "Marathi Bhasha Diwas" to mark the birth anniversary of the renowned Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar(Kusumagraj) . The importance of the Marathi language and its significance was shared by the teacher.It was a knowledgeable session for our tiny tots.
Fun-Filled School Picnic: A Memorable Day of Laughter and Bonding
School picnic is not just a day off from studies but an opportunity for students and teachers to come together, relax, and create lasting memories. We had arranged school picnic to 'Mauli Agro Resort' on 2nd February 2024. Students enjoyed different activities like Drum Train Ride, Tractor Ride, Tattoo, Fun in play area and Magic Show,fish feeding activity etc.They also enjoyed their favourite delicious food like noodles, pav bhaji, gulab jamun etc. in a relaxed natural atmosphere.
Shivjayanti
Our school has celebrated Birth Anniversary of Great Maratha Warrior Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 19 th February 2024.To create awareness in young minds of the children regarding maratha warrior & to honour the great leader of the nation,puja and garland was offered. The students dressed up as Maharaj, Jijabai, Mavale etc. One of the students recited Shivgarjana. Activities like, Toran and Flag making which added the enthusiasm in our students . Informative speech was given by teacher. Shivjayanti reminds us Courageous act of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and inspire the coming generation to show their courage with respect.
Vasantpanchami and Yellow Colour Day with Semi circle Shape
Our Pre-Primary section welcomed spring season by celebrating Vasantpanchami. Students offered prayers to the Goddess Saraswati for academic success, creativity & intellectual pursuits. Children enchanted Maa Saraswati's shlokas.Our tiny tots were looking cheerful in yellow colour dresses. Also prasad of yellow bundi was offered to Goddess & enjoyed by all.
On this occassion, Yellow colour day was also celebrated with introduction of Semi circle shape in the school. Children brought yellow colour Food & yellow colour things with them.
Food Activity
Puff rice bhel food Activity was conducted in pre primary section on 5th February 2024.students and teachers were dressed up like chef.Our little chef's enjoyed fireless cooking.
This Activity aimed to give them hands on experience and to teach them to follow directions. It helps to build confidence and culinary skills.
National Girl Child Day
We at our Pre-Primary section of english medium celebrated "National Girl Child Day" on 24th January 2024. We have made our girls aware about their own rights and also to increase awareness on the importance of their health and nutrition. We have highlighted this day with an objective to provide support and opportunities to our girls.
Brown Colour Day
On 30th November we celebrated Brown colour day and Cone Shape. Kids learnt about the colour in an engaging and interesting way. The little ones were introduced to brown colour objects especially found in nature such as wood , soil and dried leaves. It was an enjoyable day for kids as all of them were dressed up in brown colour clothes and they did various activities based on brown colour.
Republic Day Celebration
We celebrated Republic Day with the little leaders of tomorrow. Tiny tots came dressed up in tricolor dresses, embodying the spirit of our nation's flag. Teachers and students joyously sang patriotic songs, including "बलसागर भारत होवो" together, fostering a sense of unity and pride. Additionally, all kids enthusiastically participated in drawing and coloring activities related to Republic Day, immersing themselves in the celebration of our country's heritage and values.
Sports Week
Sports Week is celebrated from 8th January to 13th January 2023.The Mascot for this year is Unicorn. The lightning of the torch by Young state-level Dodgeball player Miss Purva Pise. Girls welcomed our guests by performing Lazim, Drill, Hulla huppa and Lathi kathi. The closing ceremony was a celebration of achievement, where medals & gifts were awarded to outstanding athletes. Our Guest for the prize distribution ceremony was the district-level, State-level and National-level Basketball player Smt.Rashmi Kulkarni.Students enjoyed this event with their parents and learned the importance of Sportsmanship & fair play.
Rangoli and Song Competitions
Rangoli and Song Competitions were conducted in our school on 5th January 2024. These activities aimed to develop the creative skills of our Senior KG students. Additionally, Nursery and Junior KG classes arranged a Singing Competition to boost confidence among the young participants. The students eagerly showcased their talents and enthusiasm, demonstrating their best efforts in both competitions.
New Year Celebration
The New Year was fabulously celebrated as a day filled with great fun and enthusiasm. Upon welcoming the New Year, Principal Ma'am wished all the students a wonderful new year and encouraged them to make New Year resolutions.
Christmas Celebration and Red Colour Day
Christmas brings cheer and love in our life. Our KG angels celebrated Christmas on 21 Dec 2023, in the school. The school was decorated beautifully and everyone was dressed up in lovely Red colour. Our tiny tots danced to the melodious tunes of "Jingle Bells" & "We wish you a merry Christmas". The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. Christmas cake and toffies were distributed to the students by Santa. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children.
Our children also learnt red colour and star shape on same date. Our children learnt red colour and star shape things through our display. They enjoyed red colour activities.
Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary
On the auspicious occasion of Savitribai Phule Jayanti on 3rd January 2024, we joyfully celebrated the birth anniversary at our Preprimary section of a trailblazing figure in education and social reform.Savitribai Phule was India's first female teacher ,first principal and a relentless advocate for women's education.As we wrapped up the celebration, we expressed gratitude for Savitribai Phule's indelible mark on education in India. The event provided an opportunity for reflection on how we can continue her legacy by fostering a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, equality, and a thirst for knowledge.
Bonfire: A Winter Delight for Our Little Angels
At our school, we have celebrated a bornfire activity on December 22, 2023. The school playground was adorned with an array of games, allowing young learners to explore, laugh and enjoy. Teachers sang melodious tunes dedicated to the magic of bonfires, adding rhythm to the crackling flames. As a delightful refreshment during our Annual Gathering, our tiny tots relished delicious food that warmed their hearts.
Annual day
Annual day celebration is an eagerly awaited event in every educational institution. It is a day when students get to showcase their talents, and everyone comes together to celebrate their achievements. On 20th December 2023,Wednesday, our Pre-Primary Section celebrated its Annual Day Program in Balgandharva auditorium. The theme was Cultural Kaleidoscope, Folk Dance of India. On this special day, our school commitee's Honourable President, Dr.Sushama Keskar Madam was our chief guest. Auditorium was completely decorated with handmade charts and props. Entailing the formal welcome, the Prize distribution ceremony was done. This was followed by progressive annual report which was presented by our Respected Principal Madam.The cultural show began with welcome dance, after that, one by one, the students of different classes performed various programs.The theme-based dances and drama both captivated the guests.
Field Trip
This year we took our Pre-Primary sections Field Trip to Late Sanjay Mahadev Nimhan Gram Sanskruti Udyan, Someshwarwadi Pashan on 21st October 2023 and the best way we choose to explain the term 'Community Helpers', was by allowing them to witness it. Our children saw the statues of tailors stitching clothes, shopkeepers selling their goods, carpenters building furnitures, sweepers cleaning the roads, etc. This Field Trip was an excellent experiential learning engagement. Involvement in real world like scenarios makes learning more meaningful and memorable for children. As a result this trip had a remarkable impact on our young minds.
Diwali and Deepotsav
We celebrated Diwali festival on 6th November 2023 at pre primary section. We decorated school campus with lanterns, flowers, rangoli and Diya hangings.All the students were wearing colourful dresses. We have displayed each day of Diwali and explained it's importance to students. There was also another big event of this occasion, we also celebrated Deepotsav on 7th November 2023 with students and parents. We have also invited Security Guards of our school as ‘Celebrity of the month November’ to celebrate Diwali with us. Parents and students and our invited guests lighted Diyas in school campus and enjoyed activities.
Kojagiri and White Colour Day
On 27th October 2023, we celebrated Kojagiri and White Colour Day in our Pre-Primary section .Teachers explained in detail the significance of White Moonlight on Kojagiri Pournima.On the occassion of Kojagiri , all children and teachers were dressed in white colour.The motive of celebrating kojagiri and white colour day was to make the students aware of the concept of white colour by giving example of white and full moon which signifies goodness and brightness. . All children enjoyed White Colour Day activities conducted in their respective classes. Teachers demonstrated the process of making masala milk and how the reflection of white moon can be seen in the milk and at the end our children enjoyed drinking yummy masala milk.
Teachers Session
Session for Teachers was conducted on 12 th October 2023 in our Pre-Primary section. On the topic "Stress Management"this session was arranged with शिशुमंदिर teaches and the session was taken by Smt. Megha Kher Palkar who is a Clinical Psychologist and a counsellor, working in the field of Psychological counselling for last 32 years. She explained when we are stressed and tired out, we are not thinking or teaching at our best. We need practical strategies for acknowledging and managing our well - being. Also she has shown many Time management activities for teachers through PowerPoint presentation and given examples by explaining how we can reduce our stress by working on time management.Overall the session was very useful for teachers to overcome their stress.
Potter Activity
We have invited potter as celebrity of the month of October 2023.
He taught how to make Diya on the wheel. Students and teachers enjoyed real life experience of making different types of Diyas enthusiastically. These diyas were gifted to students at the time of Diwali.
Deep Pujan
We at our Pre-Primary section celebrated Deep Pujan on 17th July 2023, which falls on Ashadha Amavasya Day. Deep is considered to be the symbol of knowledge. Teachers gave detailed information about the tradition. Our tiny tots joined their hands in worship and recited shlokas. It was explained, that the sparkling light of diyas drives out all the evil and bad powers and welcome new brightness to our lives.
Grandparents Day and Bhondla
Our school has arranged Grandparent's Day and Bhondla celebration on 19th October 2023. All our little girls came dressed up in Traditional Garba outfit and dandiyas. Grandparents were welcomed by our Respected Principal Madam by giving them beautiful handmade Greeting Cards. The celebration started with 'Patipujan' and Saraswati vandana, also Tiny Tots welcomed their Grandparents through their wonderful dance performances. Grandfathers enjoyed playing various games which were arranged for them and our little girls enjoyed bhondla with their grandmothers by making them aware about Bhondla rituals and songs which were sung by their grandmothers. The celebration was ended by taking photos of children with their grandparents at our selfie point and by hearing their wonderful experiences from them.

Teachers Day
On 5th September 2023 we at our Pre-Primary section celebrated "Teachers Day" with full of zeal. Our Respected Principal Madam Smt. Savita Ankaikar and all Little Girls Welcomed our Teachers' by doing औक्षण and giving beautiful card.
She made this day memorable with full of surprises like cake, snacks, etc. Children dressed -up as Teachers and taught Stories and Rhymes in the classes.
The Teachers were very overwhelmed with the surprises and also felt very Special and Thankful.
Orange Colour Day
On 31st August , We celebrated 'Orange Colour Day' and introduced of square shape to our students. All teachers and our tiny tots came dressed up in orange colour dresses. Teachers showed them different types of orange colour and square shaped objects to make them aware about the colour and shape. Students enjoyed different activities related to the orange colour.
Independence Day
The 77th Independence Day of our motherland INDIA, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by our young stars. Sr.KG Students performed gracefully on “ऐ मेरे वतन के लोगों”. The event was full of patriotism that kindled a sense of love for our country within the children. It's also reminds us the immense sacrifices of those who gave up their lives for the freedom of India.On this occasions National Anthem being sung by all the teacher's and little one's.
Teaching Aids exhibition
On 7th of October 2023 our school organized a Teaching Aids exhibition. This event was inaugurated by Dr. Sushama Keskar Madam is a President of our School committee. Teaching Aids related to different teaching subjects like English, EVS/G. K, Math, DRS, Marathi etc.The event that has given the opportunity to the students to display and demonstrate their teaching aids. The exhibition was much appreciated by our guests, parents and visitors. Kudos to the tiny tots for their efforts in making it a grand success.
Pink day
The pre-primary section celebrated Pink day on 28th Sept 2023.It was wonderful to see our children wear blooming & blossoming in different shades of Pink. The young ones brought pink coloured objects & food in the tiffin.All the pink objects and different shades of Pink were displayed in the lobby for the children.Tiny tots participated in the activities conducted in their classes related to the identification of pink colour.
Storytelling Competition
“Storytelling Competition was organized on 25th September 2023, Monday. Topics For-Nursery : Stories on Animals, Junior KG : Stories of Akbar and Birbal, Senior KG : Moral stories of kids. It opens up the vivid imaginations that run wild in children and it also builds confidence and enhances orator skills. The young vibrant storytellers came forth with wonderful tales.
Ganpati Celebration
We at our Pre-Primary section celebrated Ganpati festival on 20th September 2023 with full of enthusiasm. Our tiny tots brought Ganpati idol on the handmade mouse by playing bells, rattles, shakers, taal, etc in their hands. Theme for this year's Ganpati festival was nature, so rainbow, clouds, trees, etc were displayed. Our girls came dressed up in colourful dresses and also enjoyed Ganpati idol making activity from maida dough. After the Ganpati aarti our children enjoyed prasad of Modak and the day was ended with full of Ganpati Bappa's blessings.
Dahi handi
Dahi handi was celebrated on 6th September 2023 in pre primary section. Little ones dressed up like Radha , little krishna and gopikas.Students enjoyed krishna songs by holding each other's hand in a circle and enjoyed Dahi kala after celebration. Childern learnt the importance of Equality and unity from this festival.Child Krishna enjoyed the dance with their friends and cheerily said "Govinda ala re ala".
Food Activity
Corn bhel food Activity was conducted in Pre primary section on 4th September 2023.Students and teachers were dressed up like chef. Student's enjoyed this process of corn bhel activity with the help of teacher and sevikas. Student's understood the efforts required for the preparation of meal.
'Safe and Unsafe Touch'
The school has organised the awareness session for students on 'Safe and Unsafe Touch' in school by Shrimati Ashwini Pandit and team of Gravittus Foundation. The moto of this session was, to aware children about their own safety..
Parents Session
The school has organised session for parents on 'Say No to Plastic by Shrimati Aditi Deodhar. She guided that we must stop using harmful plastic for a healthy lifestyle and save the life of future generations. Session created awareness among parents about adverse effect of plastic things on their children. The School has also arranged feedback session about awareness on 'Safe and Unsafe Touch ' by Gravittus Foundation .This session created awareness among parents about their child's safety.
Rakshabandhan
We at our Pre Primary section celebrated Raksha bandhan on 29th August 2023 with great zeal.The tiny tots ,in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in rakhi tying on the wrist of post man and rickshaw uncle. They also enjoyed rakhi colouring and making activities.The Students made rakhis with the help of teachers and sevikas for soldiers who guard our country.
Bail Pola
We celebrated Bail Pola on 14th September 2023. Our tiny tots worshipped oxen idols. Children showed their gratitude and respect towards them as they help 'Farmer' our community helper in agriculture. Students also enjoyed stamp dabbing activity on the picture of ox.
Me, Mom and my Celebration
On 19th August 2023 we conducted Mother and Daughter's Fun activities in which we have arranged different types of oblivion games (विस्मरणात गेलेले खेळ) like बिट्या, सागरगोटे, ठिकरी पाणी, चीनचोक्याचे खेळ, झिम्मा , फुगडी इत्यादी Mother and daughter got the opportunity of spending quality time with each other. All the mothers and daughters came dressed up in green colour.They both enjoyed the sponge snake dabbing activity and scrub dabbing activity on a drawing of Varul. As the time was concluded as full of fun and enthusiasm with the tapping feets of mothers and daughters on some music and awesome mehndi designs were drawn by mothers on their daughters hands.
Nagpanchami
On 18th August 2023, we at our Pre-Primary section celebrated Nagpanchami by showing the video to our children and gave the information of significance of snakes in farmers lives and also explained in details as why the snakes are worshipped on this day. Our children enjoyed making paper strips snake activity. After the pooja, prasad was distributed among our children. Mehndi was drawn by all the teachers on little hands of our girls. Overall the day was filled with fun and learn activities.
Blue Colour Day
"Blue colour day" was celebrated in the Pre primary section on 31st July 2023.
Everyone were dressed up in different shades of Blue. The teachers familiarised the students with several shades of blue in the nature by showing few objects and pictures like a Blue bell flower, an inkpot, a blue Whale, blue Bird, blue Sky, blue Sea etc. Triangle shape was highlighted with blue colour. Children enjoyed craft and painting activities related to Blue colour and triangle shape.
Fancy Dress
A Fancy Dress Competition was arranged on 28th July 2023. To celebrate this fun-filled learning activity, children dressed up in boundless imagination. Our Nursery tiny tots performed on Health and Hygiene, Junior KG girls performed on Musical Instruments and Senior KG girls performed on Sources of Water. Children participated with a lot of confidence while speaking. The competition proved to be a great learning experience for our students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
Environment Week
Environment week was celebrated from 10th to 14th July 2023.
Rain walk, Paper bag making activity, Lotus Pond visit during Nature walk and Plantation was done with 'Gardner' who was invited as a Celebrity of the month. Students enjoyed all the activities with their friends and learnt message 'Save Environment Save Life.'
Palakshala
'पालकशाळा' was organised on 8th July 2023. Dr. Vrushali Dehadrai (Consultant of Vikramshila Resource Society) was guided on the topic of 'National Education policy and we'. 'NEP 2020' for preschool ensures that it will be beneficial for child's overall development like physical,social, emotional and cognitive.
Gurupornima
In our school premises we celebrated Gurupornima on 3rd July 2023 with the great gratitude and reverence towards Gurus. Teacher explained the importance of celebrating Gurupournima and narrated the story of "Ekalvya and Guru Dronacharya" - the symbol of Gurushishya Parampara.
Orientation Meeting
Orientation Meeting was arranged on 1st July 2023, for Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG parents. Our Principal, Smt.Savita Ankaikar madam guided our parents and she also said "Education is shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations."so be a helping hand in their educational learning and travel with them as a true inspiration. Meeting was ended by giving vote of thanks.
Green Day
“Green Day" was celebrated in the pre-primary section on 30th June 2023. All students and teachers were dressed up in green and students were asked to bring green colour food in their tiffins. Numerous activities were undertaken like Leaf Colouring for Nursery, Magic Painting for Jr. Kg., and Leaf Itching for Sr. Kg. The importance of green colour and the message of "Save Trees" was highlighted on the occasion of Green Day.
Palkhi Celebration
We at our Pre-Primary section celebrated palkhi on 27th June 2023 with full of zeal. Children came dressed up as Saints as the theme for this year's palkhi was "संत मेळा" and also dressed up in traditional wears and participated in the palkhi procession. The songs mesmerized the whole school campus. Palkhi festival showcases the distintive feature of the Maharashtrian culture as our children were made aware about the different Saints.
Yoga Day
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2023. The theme for this year made it more special, which was – "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", which means "The earth is my home". Yoga not only promotes physical relaxation but also eases mental and emotional health. With the aim of highlighting the importance of Yoga, we showed a PPT of Yogasanas and played an animated video song "Main chota hu toh kya hua, main bhi yoga kar leta hu", on which our little toddlers and our teachers performed the poses and enjoyed the yoga session together.
Welcome
The doors of Pre Primary Section opened for tiny tots on 15th June 2023. Little angels were welcomed with open arms and smile, with a garden theme. Activities were designed for students and parents. Parents also enjoyed First Day of school along with their wards.
Salad and Thali decoration competition
Our Pre-Primary section organised Salad Decoration Competition for Father and Daughter and Thali Decoration competition for Mothers on 26th November 2022. The Father's of our children had participated along with their daughter's. The aim was to build a strong bond between the father and child duo. As expected, the results were fantastic. Also the Mother's of our children had participated with great enthusiasm in Thali Decoration Competition. The Thalis were decorated beautifully and were a feast to the eyes.
Grandparents Day
Grandparents are the familys greatest treasure, the greatest storytellers and the keepers of tradition. Grandparents are the family's strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them our Pre-Primary section celebrated Grandparents Day on 10th December 2022. The programme began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp and was followed by the prayer. Grandparents are welcomed by giving them champagne flowers. Dance performance by our tinytots on "Nani teri morni ko mor le gaye" was the icing on cake for the day. Grandparents enjoyed different types of games which were arranged for them. They also took the selfie with their grandchildren at our selfie point specially made for them. Greeting cards were also given by our kids to their grandparents as a token of love and to make them feel that they are so special for them.
Bonfire
Bonfire activity was conducted by our Pre-Primary section on 22nd December 2022 in the evening at our school ground. The evening started with the ignition of a large pyramid fire by our non-teaching staff which eventually brightened the atmosphere. Students gathered and enjoyed the cozy feeling of the evening within one meters distance from the pyramid fire. Girls enjoyed the view of the bofire as the tiny embers of fire flew into the dark sky. Everyone energetically engaged in singing the songs. Not only the students but also the teachers participated as well. As the Bonfire cooled down and innumerable songs were sung by everyone, students made their way back to the classes to enjoy their favourite yummy PavBhaji and Gulabjamuns.
Medical Check up
A health checkup was organized in our Pre-Primary section for two days on 21st and 22nd December 2022 for all the students to spread awareness about health checkup and maintaining a healthy life. The checkup started with taking body temperature of our students. Children eyes were checked by Eye Specialist Doctor and Teeth were checked by Dentist and also Ears and Throat were checked by the Doctors. Students were advised to brush their teeth twice daily and also some type of food and and exercises by the Doctors to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The programme ended with a overall report by the doctors about health of students which said all were healthy and can improve. We thank all the doctors and Nurses for their time and consideration for our school. We have also conducted Medical Feedback Session for our Parents in which Doctors informed and explained overall points related to their kids health.
Christmas
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing and for laughter. We celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2022 in our Pre-Primary section. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The essence of Christmas came alive when Santa Claus himself went into the classes for distributing sweets. And also delicious cupcakes were distributed to our kids. Several activities such as cotton pasting on a drawing of Santa Cap by Nursery girls, spray painting on a drawing of Santa Sack by Jr.KG. girls and sponge dabbing activity on a drawing of Socks and Cap by Sr.KG. girls. We have also conducted games like "Feed the Santa" game for Nursery class, "Blow the glass" game for Jr.KG. classes and "Throw the ball" game for Sr.KG. classes. The delightful celebration included children coming in red colour party dress, dancing and sharing the merriment together.
Makarsankranti, Black Colour Day and Diamond shape Information
The major harvest festival of India "Makarsankranti" and Black colour day was celebrated on 16th January 2023 in our School. The children came dressed up in black colour traditional dresses. Teachers explained the importance of this Festival to children that it also known as “Uttarayan” as the Sun begin its northward journey and enters the Makar Rashi from the tropic of Cancer, which is known as a Makar Sankranti. Farmers pray to Lord Sun on this day for good crop. This festival teaches us to be thankful to nature for providing us with all the necessary things that help us to grow and stay healthy. Sankranti celebration cannot possibly complete without making and sharing 'Tilgul' a mixture of jaggery and sesame seeds. The delicious smell of roasted sesame seeds and jaggery filled the classrooms while sharing with our children. Activities like paper tearing and pasting on a drawing of Kite was performed by Jr.KG. girls, Drawing and colouring of Kite in a drawing book by Sr.KG. girls and Kite fold activity was taken in our Nursery class. Information of Diamond shape and Black colour was given to our children through display of the same. Black colour day activities performed by our Jr. KG. girls made bunch of Grapes in a craft book by dipping the chalk into black colour, Pasting pieces of black colour wool on a drawing of Sheep and Thumb printing in drawing book by Sr. KG. girls.
Republic Day
The Republic Day of India was celebrated at our Pre-Primary section on 25th January 2023 with a great zeal of patriotic. The celebration commenced by hoisting of our Indian tricolor Flag. The chidren were also briefed about the significance of each colour of our National Flag wherein Saffron stands for courage, White stands for Peace and Green stands for Prosperity. All the children actively participated in the activities conducted as our Jr.KG girls performed drawing and colouring of our National Flag, Sr.KG. girls performed activity of colouring our National Flag and National Emblems in their drawing books and our Nursery girls performed chalk dipping in colour and dabbing on a drawing of Flag. The girls came dressed up in tricolor dresses. Overall, it was a funfilled learning and enjoyable day for our tiny tots. We celebrated the day with great enthusiasm honouring the constitution of India.
Sports Day
Tiny tots of our Pre-primary section celebrated Sports day. In recognition of the importance of Sports in a child's life, our School celebrated Annual Sports Days of Sr. KG. and Nursery on 5th December 2022 and Jr. KG. on 6th December 2022. The day began with welcoming our guests through the sounds of Lezims and Pom-pom drills and the commencement of the ceremony followed by Oath and lightning the torch . Our children participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative races like Bunny Jumping and Hurdles Races for Nursery, Pick and Drop Ring and Hurdles Races for Jr. KG, Ready for the Picnic and Hurdles Races for Sr. KG. The Sports day helped chi keren explore their hidden Sports interest to build confidence and to inculcate a desire to learn new skills by watching their peers. It was a fun-filled day for one and all.
Brown Colour Day and Oval Shape
Our Pre-primary section celebrated Brown colour day on 30th November 2022. Children and teachers came dressed up in brown colour clothes. Information of Oval shape was also given to children. Brown signifies the beautify and the importance of our Earth, the Motherland. Children were amazed to see the magic of mixing two colours 'Green and Red' to get a new colour 'Brown' out of it. Display of Brown colour and Oval shape related objects was done to make the children understand. Our Jr. KG. Girls enjoyed drawing and colouring of their favourite Teddy Bear in their Drawing books, Sr. KG. girls and Nursery tiny tots enjoyed Brown paper tearing and pasting on a drawing of Monkey and Dog.
Childrens Day
We at our Pre-primary section celebrated Children's Day on 14th November 2022. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru and was very popular amongst children for his love . The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. The tiny tots came dressed up in casual clothes and brought their favourite lunch. The celebration began with the Morning prayer, followed by variety of fulfilled activities, dancing and games planned by the teachers for their children. The teachers made children's day special for their children by involving them into various games like Musical chair, Rope rampwalk, Passing the ball, etc. All the children were given vegetable cutlet and also handmade artificial Roses as a token of love from their teachers. The children were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
Kojagiri, White Colour Day and Rectangle shape
White - so pure, calming and brilliant. It is the colour of innocence, success and purity. This is why teaching our kids to identify and relate to the colour is of paramount importance. To make the learning fun and interesting, we organised white colour day on 7th October 2022. The day revolved around decorating everything white and in rectangle shape. Kids saw various white coloured and rectangle shape objects. Moreover, all teachers and children dressed in white, all of them looking like angels. We also celebrated Kojagiri Pournima on this day. Information to our kids was given through display of Kojagiri Pournima, as it is celebrated on the full moon light. The day is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. The word Kojagiri means who is awake. On this day vessel filled with milk is left under the rays of Moon and later consumed and distributed as Prasad. Our tinytots also enjoyed drinking Masala Milk in the school. Our Junior KG and Nursery girls performed the activity of sticking cotton on Snowman in their craft books.
Diwali
We celebrated Diwali with a motive to teach the importance of spreading light over darkness. Our tinytots learnt that this victory can be achieved in many ways like spreading joy, compassion and togetherness. Children came dressed up in festive clothes. We invited a Potter at our Pre-Primary section to give our girls real life experience of making Diyas with their own little hands. Girls enjoyed this activity very much and also learned about one of our community helper. Our children were given information through various displays, describing importance of each day's of Diwali Festival. We offered pooja to Cow on our School ground on the occassion of 'वसुबारस'. Children also enjoyed Deepotsav with their parents in our School premises. Our Jr. KG. girls enjoyed making cracker by paper rolling activity in their Craft books, Sr.KG. girls coloured Diwali picture in their Craft books and our Nursery tinytots coloured and decorated lanterns in their Activity books. Children were given handmade lanterns and Diwali snacks as gifts.
पालक शाळा
On 24th September 2022 Parents session was organised in our Pre-primary section. Smt. Uma tai Palsule is a renowned educationalist, well known for her innovation in the field of education. She is very popular for her workshops. Through her workshops she has guided many parents. She believes that children can perform well only when they have self-confident. They can be easily motivated and inspired to reach their goals. She is a believer of the thought that 'There is a bright child in every child'. This workshop helped parents to learn about what goes on in classrooms. Successful parent involvement improves not only childrens behaviour and attendance but also positively affects childrens achievements. Parents got to know as what and how their children are learning in school which are helping to improve their physical skills, cognitive skills, social skills and emotional skills. Parents enjoyed the session very much and also learnt about different ways which will help to develop children physically and mentally by using out day to day skills at home also.
Ganesh Chaturthi
To seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated by our kids on 29th August 2022 in a unique way. An eco friendly Ganesha was made by our Senior KG. girls, different types of bindis pasting activity on a drawing of Ganesha was performed by our Junior KG girls and our little Nursery tiny tots performed paper tearing and pasting activity on a drawing of Modak with the help of their respective class teachers. The children were explained about the significance of the festival and the importance of eco friendly ways of celebrating the festival. We also gave the message to our children to save aquatic life and stop water pollution by banning the use of plaster of paris for the idol and it's immersion in lakes and ponds. The children were also shown short movie on "Lord Ganesha". The festival brought devotion, creativity, understanding and learning. Children also enjoyed Prasad of Khirapat. Overall it was an enjoyable and blessed day for all of us.
Bhondla
It was a time of great festivity on 4th October 2022, as our little kids trooped into the area alloted for celebrating Bhondla or Hasta as it is called. The festivities in the month of Ashwin are known to bring us the warmth of joy and laughter in the company of our friends. One amongst these festivities is Bhondla. Traditionally speaking, Bhondla is the custom celebrated as the Sun moves to the thirteenth constellation of the zodiac called 'Hasta". Rangoli representing a motif of two Elephants with Garland's in their trunks, is drawn either on the floor or a Paat (wooden stool). At our school all the little girls held each other's hands and danced to the beats of the music as the Bhondla songs played in the background. We also celebrated Saraswati Pujan on paati (slate) and Dussehra. The day celebrated all over India to denote the ultimate triumph of good over evil. It is also an occasion to make us remember that we should eliminate the Ravan within us - remove the bad habits that prevent us from becoming better persons. The playshed area in our section gave the message as it was adorned with a beautiful picture of Goddess Durga, statue of Goddess Saraswati as well as the Ten-headed Ravan. It was time to re-experience the jubilance of the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasur, Lord Ram over Ravan and the homecoming of the Pandavas after their 'Vanvaas'. With our young children, it was a festivity to rejoice and spread the light of happiness leading to a year full of success and divine goodness. Children were encouraged to recognize the Khirapat for Bhondla and finally after recognising the same they enjoyed having it.
Field Trip
There are number of field trip opportunities for our students throughout each school year. All of these trips are intentionally designed by our School to extend learning beyond classrooms. These trips provide unique opportunities for our students to learn in a new environment and make real World connections to the knowledge they have gained in class. Our Sambhaji Garden trip on 1st October 2022 provided us with full of opportunities to teach, as children enjoyed and experienced the feel of Metro Train in a statue of Metro. Children also visited the aquarium located at garden. They were fascinated to see the different kinds of colourful fish of different shapes and sizes. Students were given information about the aquariums features. Children also enjoyed playing on slides, swings, merry-g-orounds, etc in garden. After observing the aquarium and playing, children relaxed and had their snacks. All in all, it was a very exciting day for our kids.
Pink colour and Triangle shape day
Our Pre-primary section celebrated Pink day on 30th September 2022. It was wonderful to see our children bloom and blossom in different shades of pink. The young ones came dressed in pink colour and brought pink coloured and Triangle shape objects. All the pink colour and triangle shape objects were displayed in the school. The tiny tots participated in the Palm Printing activity by painting their palm with pink colour. The aim of these activities was to make the young ones identify pink colour and triangle shape in the objects they see around them. Children were explained that pink colour signifies love,beauty and kindness. With all the girls in high spirits, the overall atmosphere was filled with excitement as well as elation. The blooming buds enjoyed a lot and simultaneously understood the aesthatic sense of pink colour. It was indeed a visual treat to witness little ones glowing in pink. Thus, the purpose of celebration of pink colour day was fulfilled.
Teachers Day
Teachers Day was celebrated with great hoy and fervour at our pre-primary section on 6th September 2022. The powerpoint presentation on Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's life and why Teachers day is celebrated on 5th of September every year throughout India was shown to our kids. A teacher is the eternal guru and guide whose firm and loving grooming has shaped generations from times immemorial. She can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning. After this some of our little girls performed a scintillating act like dressing up and acting as their teachers, etc. to denote their love,respect,acknowledgement and gratitude. Some girls from our Primary section of English Medium School came to our pre-primary section to play a role of teacher in their respective classes. The event was a wonderful experience for the children - an amalgamation of knowledge and entertainment. Children showed their love towards their teachers by giving them handmade cards.
Orange colour day and Square shape day
Orange colour day was celebrated on 29th August 2022 and also square shape was introduced on the same day. Our little kids were dressed up in shades of orange. The children learnt various other things about square shape and the orange colour which symbolizes enthusiasm,hope and prosperity. The children were asked to bring orange coloured objects in the class on that day. Nursery girls enjoyed activity of orange paper tearing and pasting on Modak in their Drawing books and Jr.KG. girls enjoyed group activity of Orange paper tearing and pasting on Carrot and Sr. KG. girls made Ganpati idol with orange colour maida dough.
Bail Pola
Our Preprimary kids celebrated Bail Pola on 26th August 2022 with religious fervor. The children were educated about how the farmers celebrate the feast of the bull and about the strong bond between man and everything around him. Teacher's picturized children how farmers celebrate this harvest festival throughout Maharashtra with the help of our display. Through PowerPoint presentation children were made aware that festival of Bail Pola is a way of offering thanks to the Bulls by the farmers for their aid with the agricultural tasks. Germination activity was taken for SR.Kg. students.
Dahi Handi
Dahi Handi was an occasion of fun and frolic, an absolutely exhilarating time for all the dancing and frolicking Govindas from our Pre-primary section. Dahi Handi was celebrated on 18th August 2022. The teachers charmed the children with the stories of the fun loving "Lord Krishna". The upbeat mood for the Dahi Handi celebration was all set by feet tapping songs and the festive wear in which our young ones decked up; In accordance to the custom, when the children made a huge circle by holding their hands and sang with their teachers, the fun had merely begun. Beautifully decorated 'Handi' was hung in our lobby area, and weren't the little dressed up prancing 'Gwalas' all too thrilled to break the handi with the help of our school staff. Not only did they dance and sang to the tune with their teachers but also enjoyed the prasad of 'Dahikala'. Our Sr.KG. girls performed the activity of Handi decoration, Jr.KG. girls coloured the drawing of Handi and Nursery girls performed the activity of colouring and decorating the drawing of Handi. As the child krishna enjoyed the dance with his Gwalas', our little children also danced joyfully to their heart's content as they cheerily said 'Govinda ala re ala'.
Pateti (Parsi New Year)
We celebrated Parsi New Year on 16th August 2022 in our school. It is also known as "Navroz" which is derived from 'nav' and 'roz' meaning new and day respectively in Persian. Through PowerPoint presentations we gave information about Pateti festival to our tiny tots. We also made them aware about Parsi peoples traditional dresses, dishes, etc and how they decorate their houses and cook different types of delicacies. Children wished each other for their good fortune and happiness in their life.
Independence Day
Pre-Independence day celebration was held at our pre-primary section on 12th August 2022. The children were educated by explaining that the Independence Day of our country is celebrated on 15th August every year because India became a free and independent nation on 15th August 1947. A special assembly was held where the children were briefed about the significance of our 75th Independence by teachers and also the importance of Tricolour and how it should be respected. The children sang National Anthem. Some of our tinytots were dressed up as Freedom Fighter's and spoke few lines on them.Activities like drawing and colouring of Flag was performed by our Sr. KG. and Jr.KG. girls. Flag colouring activity was taken in our Nursery class. Children were also given information by teachers through our powerpoint presentation about the National symbols,National emblem,Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Airforce.
Raksha bandhan
The Preprimary English Medium wing celebrated raksha bandhan with full zeal and endeavour that one associates with this auspicious festival on 10th August 2022. The main objective behind celebrating 'Rakshabandhan' was making our children aware about the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. The Nursery tinytots in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi to our Security Uncle, Jr.KG. girls tied rakhi to Trees and Sr.KG. girls tied rakhi to Books. Information and importance of this festival was shown to our kids through PowerPoint presentation. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
Nagpanchami
We celebrated Nagpanchami festival in our school premises on 2nd August 2022 in great detail. We displayed a model of how Nagpanchami was celebrated traditionally. The teacher told Nagpanchami story to our girls and how it all started. Teachers made heena designs on the hands of our little girls. We gave the message to our kids to keep up this tradition and improvise on it further by taking very good care of the snakes. It is our duty to take care of the snakes because it helps our farmers. Our everactive tinytots went on with the snake drawing activity to complete their involment with the celebration and also enjoyed games like Zimma, Fugadi, etc.
Tilak punyatithi
Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak's 102nd Punyatithi (death anniversary) was observed on 1st August 2022. A short talk on the life of Bal Gangadhar Tilak was given by our teacher to inspire the children and remind them about our great leader's contribution towards India's freedom struggle. The children elaborated on Tilak's contribution to cultural events such as the Ganesh festival and Shivaji Jayanti. Some of our girls came dressed up like Tilak and spoke few lines on Tilak. We have also shown our children PowerPoint presentation of Kesari Wada.
Blue colour and Round Shape
We celebrated round shape and blue colour day on 29th July 2022. It was a pleasant and cool blue day for the tiny tots. All the children came dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. An array of blue coloured objects like ball, car, Doraemon, etc were at display thus providing opportunities to our kids to have a clear sense of the colour and shape and its importance. Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child's development. It was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of blue colour on our little ones.
International Tiger's Day
To promote the cause 'Save the Tigers, Save our National Animal'. We celebrated International Tigers Day in our school on 29th July 2022. Our children were made aware about the need to protect the natural habitat of Tigers and to spread aware ness about the conservation of tigers.
Deep Pujan Celebration
Aashadhi Amavasya is considered as Deep Amavasya in Indian culture. We celebrated deep pujan on 28th July 2022 in our school. Teachers gave detailed information about the tradition with the help of our Deep Pujan display. It is believed that the sparkling light of diyas drives out all the evil and bad powers and welcome new brightness into their life by doing on. Children showcased their talent by drawing different Diyas and Diya making with clay.
Food Activity or Sprouts Bhel Activity
Sprouts bhel activity was organised for our tiny tots on 25th July 2022. Teacher explained them the process of sprouting. With all the ingredients,minced,chopped,boiled ready with them, they can too make a tasty dish. Believe it or not; they just made yummy sprout bhel - healthy and tasty. As the bhet got ready to be served the kids were asked whether they remembered the recipe, each one of them could revise it in the exact sequential order. They stated that they started with a big steel vessel with some sprouts in it. Then they added some chopped tomatoes, boiled and cut potatoes and chopped onions to it and mixed it well using a big spoon. When asked what brought the taste to the bhel? The kids said that they added some salt, chat masala,cumin powder and also squeezed some lemon in it. This yummy preparation was then served by the teachers in bowls and was topped with shev to make it yummier. The activity helped them to learn one easy and healthy food recipe. When children make things on their own they become more responsible and don't throw eating tantrums. Kids promised that they would make it at home too.......Do try it out once.
Gurupournima
At our pre-primary section of English Medium, we celebrated Gurupournima on 13th July 2022. The day started with an interesting story-telling session to understand and realize the importance of Guru in their lives. The Gurupournima special story of Eklavya and Dronacharya was told by our teachers to our kid's. Display of 'Gurkul' was prepared by our teachers. Group activity of Finger Printing on a drawing of Gurupaduka was performed by our Nursery, Jr.KG. and Sr.KG girls. Guru's are often equated with God and regarded as a link between the individual and the immortal. So now we know why our school has kept alive the lamp of Guru tatva, year after year, to reaffirm it belief and allegiance to the "Guru-Shishya Parampara" as a tradition. May our Guru's continue to shine and be the guides and the torchbearers of society. At the end our children chanted the "Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu" shlok which they had learned in class and sang a song for the Gurus.
Palkhi Celebration
We at Preprimary English Medium School took this opportunity of presenting the replica of Paalkhi in our own school premises on 8th July 2022. The sounds of 'Zanj', 'Taal' and divine music and tiny tots dressed up as Warkaries carried saffron flags, tulsi saplings in 'Tulsivrindavan', Palkhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram filled the whole school with enthusiasm. The PowerPoint presentations about the Wari and how it teaches unity,devotion and value was explained and shown to children. The participation of all children in this paalkhi event gave a message of social awareness and feeling oneness.
Green colour day and Circle shape
"Green - The colour of life......". Green colour day and circle shape was celebrated in our preprimary section on 30th June 2022 in an instructive way where the children learned about the importance of green colour and the positive effects it has on our lives. Attractive charts,drawings,fruits,vegetables, animals,etc. were displayed depicting the green colour and circle shape at it's best. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the little ones showed active involvement in an activities like leaf printing by Nursery, Magic painting by Jr.KG. and leaf itching by Sr.KG. Activity of watering plants and save trees message was given to our tinytots.
Yoga Day
We celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2022. Various yoga postures,different asanas, warm up exercises, sitting and standing asanas were performed. Through this event children were enlightened on the benefits of yoga and the need to remain healthy and how it helps in improving concentration and in attaining inner peace. It also helps a person improve life physically,mentally and spiritually as well. Children enjoyed the session immensely.
Welcome
As a new day dawned the Preprimary wing, the doors to the little steps opened for Nursery on 15th June 2022, for Jr.KG. and Sr. KG. on 20th June 2022. The bundles of nervousness and excitement looked whimsical, as they appeared freshly bloomed from a nascent bud, waiting to spread it's colourful petals out. Each little angel was welcomed with open arms and endearing smiles, making them feel at home. All the safety guidelines were scrupulously followed at school with all children and it was a delight to welcome all of our kids back to school after many days of silent hallways and empty classrooms. The extensive preparation and planning put into making school re-entry safe and commitment of all foothills staff. Our aim for the first day back was to normalize the school day and it was wonderful to see the shining eyes peeking over the tops of masks.
Orientation Meeting
Orientation Meeting was arranged on 7th June 2022 at Primary Eng. Med. Hall for Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG parents. Our Principal, Smt. Priyadarshani Purohit madam guided our parents and she also explained about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.Our co-ordinator Smt. Savita Ankaikar explained the rules and regulations of the school.Meeting was ended by giving vote of thanks.
Back to school

Competition
Activities are important means of cognitive development. They are one of the most essential tools of learning particularly at pre-primary level. Keeping kids engaged in productive activities during lockdown is necessary. Participating in different activities help children to develop confidence..Keeping this in mind we conducted online “Shloka and Fancy Dress Competition” on 29th and 30th September 2021. Virtual Picnic
On 27th September 2021 picnic went digital for the first time ever due to online schooling. On Picnic Day we created a virtual environment for our little ones to experience .Students enjoyed their first ever ‘Virtual Picnic’. The venue Nursery was ‘Know you school’ and for Jr.KG and Sr.KG the venue was Peshave Park. Students were all set to a fantastic day-out with their virtual friends and teachers.
White Colour Day and Triangle Shape
On 24th September 2021 we celebrated White colour Day and Triangle Shape activity. Students looked gorgeous in their white attires. The students were shown different things of white colour and triangle shape. Students participated in explaining the objects collected by them .They enjoyed their activity and performed enthusiastically.
Ganpati Festival Celebration
We celebrated the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with 'Eco Friendly Ganesha' activity by shaping and moulding eco-friendly Ganesha at their homes with the help of clay or maida dough. A preparative session was organized for the students by the teachers to make children learn idol making through clay moulding technique. Students were very thrilled and enthusiastically moulded beautiful Lord Ganesha idols.
Teachers Day
'A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instil love for learning'. This year on Teachers Day 5th class children had play a role of the teacher and taken online class for our tiny tots. The day was filled with lots of excitement, joy and happiness.

Janmashtami Celebration
Janmashtami is festival that denotes the birth of Lord Krishna. We share video clip on the life of lord Krishna. In this way the teachers wanted the students to understand the meaning of this festival.
Brown colour Day and Square Shape
We celebrate Brown colour day and square shape on 27th September 2021. Shades of brown primarily connect us with earth-friendly and natural substances. So, in a process to make pre-primary kids learn the colour in an engaging and interesting way. Children collect brown colour and square shape objects.On this day tiny tots made mouse face with the shape. It was an enjoyable day for the kids as all of them were dressed up in brown colour clothes.
Rakshabandhan Celebration
We celebrate Rakshabandhan on22nd August 2021. Raksha bandhan symbolises the true love and bond between brothers and sisters. Rakhi has deep significance and it has been used for the protection of the person who ties it on his hand from mythological times. We had taken rakhi making activity for our tiny tots and they showcased their talent by sending virtual pictures of their beautiful and creative hand made rakhi using craft material.
Nag panchami
Nag Panchami was celebrated on 12th August 2021.Teachers told students the importance of snake. We had taken the activity with the aim to tell the importance of snakes for the farmer and its very importance role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem and environment.
Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated in the school ,to mark the 75th year of freedom from the British rule with great patriotic fervor, zeal and zest. The teachers taught them the significance of Independence Day. Children had played role of our different freedom fighters like Rani of Jhasi, Bhagat Singh,Bal Gangadhar Tilak and many more. Children also did activity of colouring flag to showcase their talents.
Play Station
When the pupil feels to go out and share the time in cultivating something new which can generate the mind’s topology to refreshing mood towards the healthy and busy schedule and helps to pass time with generating some physical strength with cheering mind for that the outdoor games we have displayed "Play station" for the students in our campus. There are - Pathways, directions station, Fun and learn station, slides, sea-saw, doll house and many more. Some parents came in the school for office work along with their children that time we click some photos of our tiny tots.
Pink Color Day and Circle Shape Day
We celebrated pink colour and circle shape on 30th July 2021 during their online class. It was wonderful to see our children were blooming in different shades of pink. The aim of the activity was to make the young ones identify pink colour of the objects they see around them. Such learning by doing activities gives hands on experience to the children which build confidence and create interest in learning. It was a fun filled day for the little ones.
Deep Pujan
Deep pujan was celebrated on 6th August 2020.We celebrated this day virtually, lighted Different types of diyas and offered prayers to God to remove the darkness of ignorance and bring in the light of knowledge and wisdom. They thoroughly enjoyed the Diya Making activity using maida dough and come to know about the importance of Deep Pujan .
Guru Purnima Celebration
We celebrated Guru Purnima on Thursday,22nd July 2021 . Online session started with an interesting information to educate the kids about Guru Purnima. The special story of Shivaji Maharaj and Jijabai was told by teacher. The teacher also explained the importance of a guru in our life. There was sweet and touching moment when all the kids made greeting cards for their mothers, their first guru in life who taught them all good things. At the end, they chanted ‘Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu’ shloka.
Palkhi Celebration
Ashadhi Ekadashi is an auspicious day of God Vitthal. It is a festival of religious procession. , we celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi on 19th July 2021 with great enthusiasm through a virtual platform.The procession made the children aware of our great tradition like palkhi of great saints who gave thought of social equality and tried to inculcate moral values. Students dressed as warkaris. Also, children performed online activity pasting of lentils on the flag.
Virtual Welcome
Before start a new thing we have to do aarti and start a new year with the praising god. We welcomed our students virtually in the year 2021-2022 .We started a new year with “Aarti” and “औक्षण” to the students. We also performed a fun activity “Happy and Sad” face to improve their emotional skills on the very first day.
