30_Deepotsav - 2024
"Light is the symbol of divinity & knowledge to spread and share the light of knowledge and happiness. "MGE Society's, Huzurpaga Girl"s English Medium School, Katraj celebrated Deepotsav for the days on account of Diwali on 26th October 2024 (Saturday). The whole building was decorated with LED lights and Lanterns. To celebrate this festival of light this year, Maharashtra Girls" Education society"s honourable society members Smt. Himani Gokhale - vice president of MGE Society, Shree. Laxmikant Mundada Sir - Member of MGE Society, Shree.Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir - Pre-Primary Head, Principals from various sections of Huzurpaga family and Society were present for this Deepotsav. Smt. Himani Gokhale Vice- President of M.G.E. society expressed her valuable words towards the present members and wished everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali. All dignitaries and present members were lighted diyas on the ground floor. On this auspicious day we donated cereals and pulses to Helping Hand Social Foundation named as आसरा
अनाथांचाहक्काचानिवारा - बाणेर, पुणे.The whole program was organised under the guidance of Smt. Kirti Pandit madam (Principal of Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Katraj Section), and Smt. Arpita Kulkarni madam (Supervisor). Principal Smt. Kirit Pandit madam expressed her gratitude towards the present committee members, students and blessed the students from our school with great success, prosperity, good health and to celebrate an Eco-Friendly Diwali. All members enjoyed this Deepotsav with enthusiasm.
29_Mother-Daughter Competition
An activity had been organised by the school to increase the marvellous bond between mothers and their daughters. This event took place on 26thOctober 2024 (Saturday). This event consisted of a competition activity in which both a mother and a child together had to make" Salad Decoration". All of the decorations made by them were unique and beautiful. The students as well as their mothers enjoyed this activity. This made to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters.
28_Diwali Celebration
Diwali is one of the greatest festival of India. This year we celebrated Diwali festival on 25thOctober 2024(Friday). Teaches put a display of six days of Diwali I.e. Vasubaras, Dhanateras, Narak Chaturdashi, Laxmi Poojan, Padwa and Bhaubijetc, and narrated stories related to same as well as gave information about all these days to students. Teachers decorated classrooms, soft boards and all the premises of school with hanging lantern, diyas and rangoli etc. Teachers put idols of Shivaji Maharaj along with his Mavalas on the fort. Students made greeting cards. Students also decorated diyas with the help of teachers. School had given Chiwada and Ladoo as the Diwali Faral to each student. Students came in party wear dress and enjoyed this Diwali celebration a lot.
27_Father-Daughter Competition
Father-Daughter relationship is a unique and special bond that holds immense significance in a child"s life. To strengthen this bond our school had arranged Father-Daughter competition on 25th October 2024 (Friday). The theme for this competition was"Lantern Making". All the participants were keen and excited for the competition. The fathers were fully prepared with all material for lantern making. Everyone really enjoyed it.
26_Kojagiri Poornima, White Colour Day and Rectangle Shape
We celebrated KojagiriPournima and White colour day on 16th October 2024(Wednesday) in our school. White colour labelled display was put up by all our teachers. All our little girls and teachers wore white colour dress and sarees. Teacher shown various white colour objects like stars, Moon,Milk,flowers, eraser, tiffin, necklace and also shown some white colour grocery items like sugar, salt, rice etc. Rectangle shape was also introduced on the same time. Teacher explained the significance of Kojagiri Pournima to the children.Kojagiri Pournima is celebrated on Full moon light. The day is dedicated to Goddess Lakhmi. The word Kojagiri means who is awake. On this day vessel filled with milk is left under the rays of Moon and later consumed. Our little girls also enjoyed Masala Milk as a Prasad. White colour day activity was also taken in the respective classrooms.
25_Bhondala, Khandenavami and Saraswati Poojan (Pati Poojan)
Bhondala is a Marathi festival traditionally celebrated by girls or women. We also celebrated this festival on 9th October 2024 (Wednesday) and celebrated Saraswati Poojan (Pati Poojan) on 11th October 2024(Friday) respectively. The girls dressed up with colourful traditional dresses which added to the festive mood. The girls enjoyed Bhondala songs with their teachers, going around an elephant in a circle.
Ayudh puja or Khandenavami is part of Navaratri festival which is celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri. We celebrated Khandenavami by worshipping our books, charts, toys, musical instruments, sports equipment.
The importance of Navratri and Dussehra was explained by our teachers. Activities also taken in the classroom. Goddess Saraswati is a goddess of knowledge and wisdom. They coloured the picture of Goddess Saraswati and do the pooja and worship. The day ended with the small treat for the girls as a "Khirapat- Masala Dosa". It was a fun filled day for all our girls.
24_Mahatma Gandhiand Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti
Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti was celebrated on 4th October 2024 (Friday) in our school. Display was put up by the teachers. Teacher gave information about the life of Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri and also the founder members of M.G.E. Society. One of our SR.KG. student came dressed up as Mahatma Gandhiji and gave a short speech. Children got inspired after knowing about Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
23_Field Trip
There are number of field trip opportunities for our students throughout the year. All these trips are intentionally designed by our school to extend learning beyond classrooms. Our school trip was arranged on 1st October 2024(Tuesday) at Hadshi Temple. Students saw the statues of different goddess and Sant. We visited the Vitthal- Rukmini temple and chanted Pasayadan. Our little girls enjoyed this field trip and got exposure to ancient architecture specimens.
22_Bail Pola
Bail-Pola is a Bull-worshipping festival celebrated by farmers mainly in Maharashtra. We celebrated this festival in our school on 30thSeptember (Monday). Display was put up by teachers. Students also brought their decorated " Bail". Teacher gave information about this festival, how farmers celebrate this harvest festival. On the day of Pola, farmers decorate and worship their bulls. Bulls are a symbol of hard work and are known as farmer"s best friends. This festival highlights the role of a bull in agriculture and their importance to the farmers.
21_Pink Colour Day and Triangle Shape
Pink colour day was celebrated on 30th September 2024(Monday). Our little girls were dressed up in their favourite colour Pink. All teachers and Tai also wore pink dress and sarees. Beautiful pink colour labelled objects display was put up by the teachers. Teachers shown pink colour objects to students like Pink Lotus, Purse, Teddy Bear toy, Napkin, Cap, crayon etc. Teacher explained students the pink colour is prepared by mixing red and white colour. Teacher also introduces Triangle shape and shown triangle shape objects such as Tiffin, Cap, Samosa etc. Activities also conducted in the classrooms.
20_Foundation Day - Story Telling Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony
On account of foundation day of M.G.E society, all sections of Pre- Primary had arranged Story Telling competition at Laxmi Road branch on 26th September 2024(Thursday). Most of the students participated in these competitions. Standard wise details of the Stories are

On 2nd October 2024(Wednesday) M.G.E. Society celebrated 140th Foundation Day enthusiastically. Honourable Society Members Smt. Himani Gokhale and Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir were present at Mangdewadi branch and worshiped the founders of M.G.E. Society.
19_Ganapati Celebration
Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10 days festival which is celebrated all over India with joy and full devotion. We celebrated this festival on 9th September 2024 (Monday). Lord Ganesh is the lord of wisdom and knowledge. The theme for this year was "Srushti, Vrushti and Manav". Children came in beautiful traditional attire. We have made a clay Ganesh Idol which had seeds in it. After immersion this clay was mixed with the soil in our farm so that it can be used for planting new tree. Principal madam performed the Pooja and aarti was done by our SR. KG, JR. KG and Nursery students. Teacher gave the information and activities were conducted in the classrooms. Modak was given as a Prasad. Celebration was done with lot of enthusiasm.
18_Teachers" Day Celebration
It is celebrated on 5th September every year in India as it is the Birth Anniversary of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was an excellent teacher. Teacher told the importance of Teacher"s Day on this occasion. Our 1st Std. students taught to SR.KG. students and Sr.KG. students to JR.KG. and Nursery students. A small formal program was conducted which started with welcome by our principal madam smt. Kirti Pandit followed by offering prayers to Doctor Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The teachers day celebration was a resounding success, filled with love, laughter and appreciation.
17_Orange Colour Day and Square Shape
Orange colour day was celebrated on 30th August 2024 (Friday). And square shape was introduced on the same day. Our little girls were dressed up in shades of orange colour. Beautiful orange colour labelled objects display was put up by the teachers. Children also brought some orange colour objects from their homes like Spoon, napkin, eraser, pen etc. Square shape was introduced by putting up objects which had a square shape such as carrom, clock, Tiffin, toy blocks and many more. Activities were conducted in respective classrooms.
16_Interschool Fancy Dress Competition
On the auspicious occasion of Dahi Handi Huzurpaga Girls" English Medium School, Katraj organised a colourful Fancy Dress Competition for children aged 3-8 years. The theme "Gokul" transported us to the enchanting land of Lord Krishna"s childhood . The Gokul Fancy dress competition was a resounding success, with children and parents alike enjoing the vibrant atmosphere.
15_Dahi Handi Celebration
It celebrates in the Marathi month Shravan on Krishna Paksha Ashtami. Janmashtami celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna. This year we celebrated Dahi Handi on 26th August 2024(Monday). We placedidol of Lord Krishna in one small cradle and celebrated his birthday. Teacher gave information about the same to all students. Story of Krishnajanma was told by teacher. This year we celebrated it in an ecofriendly and innovative way. The handi that was tied to the rope was filled with seeds in place of curd. We sowed the seeds of plants used during the festival in the school"s surrounding premises. We believe that this small step will make our student aware and responsible towards nature. Principal Madam, teachers and studentsperformed the pooja. The members of Dahi Handi Team and our little "Girls Govinda" cracks seeds Dahi Handi. Bhel was given as a prasad to all students on this occasion.
14_SESSION BY DAMINI PATHAK
A session was conducted by Damini Pathak on awareness about girl child protection and how a girl child can safeguard herself while she faces the world.
13_Rakshabandhan
It is a festival that celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. We celebrated rakshabandhan on 16th August 2024(Friday) in our school. Beautiful rakhi display was put up by the teachers. Our little girls came in beautifulcolour dresses and brought rakhi with them. They tied rakhi to our security guards, to our teachers and our Tai. Students also enjoyed rakhi making activity. They also liked eating "Naral Barfi". This Raksha Bandhan celebration was enjoyed by all the students.
12_Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day celebration was held on 13th August (Tuesday) 2024. Teacher explained importance of Independence Day 15th August. India became free and independent nation on 15th August 1947. Teacher also gave information about our national flag, importance of Tri colour and how it should be respected. All the teachers, Tai and students sang The National Anthem. An activity was also conducted in the respected classrooms. Children drew National Flag and coloured it. Huzurpaga Girls" English medium school celebrated 78th Independence Day enthusiastically. Our guest of honour Council member of M.G.E. society Mr. Laxmikant Mundada sir, Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir ,President of pre-primary English medium school Katraj delivered a speech to boost the moral of students. The program came to an end with the performance of our pre-primary students who sung the song "We Shall Overcome".
11_Nagpanchami Celebration
We celebrated Nagpanchami Festival in our school on 12th August 2024(Monday). Beautiful display was put up by the teachers to show students how we celebrate Nagpanchami traditionally. Teacher gave information about the festival. Teacher also told the story of Nagpanchami. It is our duty to take care of snakes because it helps our farmers. On account of this festival original anthill (Snake home) were shown to the students by the teachers. Activities were conducted in respected classrooms. Students made various types of snakes from the clay. Our little girls enjoyed the yummy delicious "Puran" in their lunch. Students from higher classes drew beautiful "Mehendi" Designs on the hands of the little girls. Our little girls also played traditional games like Zimma and Fugadi. They liked it and enjoyed it a lot.
10_Deep Pujan
AshadhiAmavsya is considered as Deep Amavasya. We celebrated Deep Pujan on 2nd August 2024 (Friday) in our school. Display of different diyas was put up in the school like Laman diva, Samai, Panati, Niranjan etc. Teachers also put the display of other diyas like deepmal, battery, kandil, bulb etc. Our Principal lightened the Samai and other lamps. Teachers gave information about our tradition and importance of " Deep Pujan" to students. Students also brought different diyas. All the students prayed and recite "शुभंकरोतिकल्याणम".
09_Tilak Punyatithi and Annabhau Sathe Jayanti
Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar punyatithi(Death Anniversary) was on 1st August(Thursday). Teachers gave information about the life of Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Annabhau Sathe. JR. KG student came dressed up like Lokmanya Tilak and Annabhau Sathe and gave short speech. Smt. Dipti Kulkarni teacher narrated the famous story of Bal Gangadhar Tilak"मीशेंगाखाल्यानाही, मीटरफलेउचलणारनाही". It gave the message to all the student that "अन्यायकरायचानाही,अन्यायसहनहीकरायचानाही."After knowing about Lokmanya Tilak Students inspired from him. And it reminds them about our great leader"s contribution towards India"s freedom struggle.
08_Blue Colour Day and Circle Shape
We celebrated Blue colour day and Circle shape on 31st July 2024 (Wednesday) in our school. All students, teaching and non-teaching staff came in blue colour dress and sarees. Display of Blue colour labelled objects was put up. Students had also brought some blue colour objects with them like Tiffin, necklace, handkerchief, sharpener etc. Different circle shape objects were put up and teachers introduced the "Circle shape" to the students. Ball, ring, bangles, clock, bindi etc. Were shown to the students. Teachers also conducted different activities for the same.Students drew circle shape using stencil and coloured it with blue colour.
07_Guru Pournima
Guru pournima or Vyas pournima is the day to celebrate and express our gratitude to our "Gurus". This full moon day in the month of Ashadh is one of the auspicious day of the year in Hindu calendar. We celebrated guru pournima on 24th July 2024(Wednesday). Supervisor Ma"am Smt. Arpita Kulkarni offered flowers to photo of Guru "Vyas". Dipti teacher gave information about guru pournima and narrated story of " GuruDronacharya&Eklavya"to the students.
06_PLANT LIBRARY
Devraifoundation gifted 105 saplings which were planted in our school premises. Later on, the students were requested to bring pot earthen pots to plant these saplings. These saplings included various medicinal plants as well. The guest of honour on this occasion are Leena Tai Mehandale, Smt. Priyadarshani purohit, Madhuri taiBambhorikar, Smt. Suniti Utangale, Smt. Meena Vihite.
05_Palkhi
Palkhi was celebrated on 16th July 2024(Tuesday). Palakhi celebration is unique feature of Maharashtrian culture. Like every year this year also it was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. The theme was "Vruksha Dindi". We conducted a procession of teachers and students who sung devotional songs, chanted various verses while walking. We also performed pooja of the deities. Students participated in procession as "Vitthal-Rukmini" and in "Warkari" getup. Mrs. Dipti Kulkarni told the information about it. RajgiraLadoo was given as prasad. Activity also conducted in the classroom.
04_Green Colour Day
To know the specific colour by the students, we are conducting different colour days every month. This month we celebratedGreen colour day on 28thJune 2024 (Friday). All the students, teachers and non-teaching staff wore green colour dresses and sarees. Display with labelled objects was put up in the school premises with green colour objects. Some green colour vegetables like Capsicum, ladyfinger, Chilli, Beans, Fenugreek, Spinach, Curry Leaves etc. and some toy animals like Frog, Grasshopper, Caterpillar etc. displayed on the table. Some stationary items such as Paper, file, pen sharpener etc was also kept. Students also brought some green colour objects from their home. Students brought green colour snacks in tiffin. Activities were conducted in the classroom.
03_Orientation Meeting
Orientation Meeting for the Academic Year 2024-2025 was conducted on22nd June2024 (Saturday). The school conducted orientation meeting for all the parents to brief them about the annual plan related to academics and co-curricular activities. General Rules and Regulations of the school were explained to parents during this meeting.
Purpose of Executive Committee and Transport Committee was explained by Smt.Manasi Medhekar. Executive Committee Members and Member of Transport Committee were elected at the same time. Executive Committee formation for the Academic Year 2024-2025 was done at the time of Orientation Meeting.
The school also invited Mrs. Aditi Deodhar who emphasized on the importance of plastic ban and how plastic harms our environment. We also inaugurated the compost pit which will convert the "Nirmalya" in to nutrient rich fertilizer in the presence of the guest of honour. A session on "importance of medical health" along with physical health was also conducted by the organisation named "Manovikas" which guided the parents.

02_International Yoga Day
Yoga helps to develop flexibility and strength in our body, happiness and peace in our mind. We had celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024(Friday). Our P.E. teacher conducted yoga session with different sitting and standing poses of yoga. Students wore white T-shirt and black track pant on the occasion of Yoga Day. All the students had done the Yoga enthusiastically.
01_1st Day of school
School started on 18th June 2024 (Tuesday). Principal and all the teachers welcomed all the students by doing "Aukshan". Hand craft Flowers and head gears were given to the students. Take away activity was taken in respective classes. Whole week teachers had taken Art and Craft activities and different types of games. All the students were happy and enjoyed the 1st day of school.
Teachers’ Session
M.G.E. Society organised a session for Teaching staff under Vidya Vikas Vyaspeeth on 24th April 2024 at Laxmi Road branch. Smt. Uma Bapat a Psychologist arranged workshop to motive teachers to develop their skills which are required in the classroom. She gave information about the capacity of the children and how they can be taught different games based on their abilities and their interests.
Her guidance was very useful and it was very nice experience.
Graduation Day
School had organised “Graduation Day” on 12th April 2024(Friday) for SR. KG girls. All students wore the graduation attire and Participated in rally at Khopade Nagar. Our little graduates were awarded by medal and certificate from honourable council members of M.G.E. Society Shri. Ramakant Sonawani Sir, Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir, Principals and Supervisor. The 5th edition of Annual Magazine “Little Angels” were released by dignitaries.JR.KG girls wish them by performing a dance. This graduation day was a memorable day for our little angels and also for all of us. Students were served with packet of Samosa and Balushahi. On the same day school had arranged Ice-Cream Party for the students with Mango flavour and they enjoyed a lot.
Gudhi Padwa Celebration
GudhiPadwa is celebrate to mark the beginning of the Marathi New Year for the people of Maharashtra. We celebrated Gudhi Padwa festival in our school on 10th April (Wednesday) . Teachers put the display and decorated the“Gudhi”. A Gudhi with bamboo, swastik on ‘Kalash’ and silk cloth,sugar, neem and mango leaves is raised to announce victory and joy. Teacher explained the importance of this festival. Activities also conducted in the classroom and at the end served with prasad of gathi.
Summer Camp – 2023-2024
This year our school had organised a 5-days summer camp for all little students. It was conducted from 2nd April to 6th April. These 5 days had different colour themes which made the camp even more exciting for our little kiddos. According to the colour theme they wore dresses and brought snacks of that colour every day. Various activities, games, story, puppet show were arranged in this camp. Girls also enjoyed one day picnic at Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park. They were amazed by sight of all animals. On last day of the camp Smt. Hemani Gokhale Vice President of M.G.E. Society and President of School Committee Pre- Primary Katraj visited to our school. She spoke with our little girls and also narrated an enchanting story to them. Little girls were delighted by all the activities and games. Every day they went home with sweet memories of the camp. They thoroughly enjoyed this summer camp.
Holi, Dhulivandan and Rangpanchami Celebration
It was celebrated on 27th March 2024 (Wednesday). Teachers put the display of the same. Teacher gave the information about the festival to the girls. Story of “Holika Dahan” was also shown to the students. They played Rangpanchami with Yellow, Red, Green food colour. They enjoyed this festival a lot. School had given sweet puri to the students.
Purple Colour Day
We celebrated purple colour day on 28th March 2024(Thursday). Cone shape was also introduced on same day. Teachers put the display of purple colour objects like Brinjal, jamun, Bag, Napkin, etc. All our students and teachers wore purple colour dresses and sarees. Teacher also shown cone shape objects like birthday cap, ice cream cone etc. Activitites were also conducted in the classroom.
Annual Prize Distribution
It was organised on 2nd March (Saturday) 2024.School had conducted different competitions for our students and parents through the year. M.G.E. Society Council member Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir was present to encourage our little students. We appreciate all the winners and participants. Our students and parents were extremely happy after receiving the prizes. It gave encouragement and motivation to them. It also helped to build strong bond among the students, parents and the school.
Yellow Colour Day and Semi Circle Shape
We celebrated yellow colour day on 29th February. Our teachers put up display of the same. All our little girls, teachers wore yellow colour dresses. Teachers show them yellow colour objects like Mango, Pineapple, Banana, Smiley ball, Sketch pen, Yellow bag, plate, bowl etc. Semi-circle shape was also introduced on the same day. Teacher shown objects like piece of watermelon, Sweet lime, protractor etc. Students enjoyed activities like palm printing, Paper shaving on mango, crumpling on corn.
Science Day
National science day is celebrated every year on 28th February in remembrance of the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by the genius scientist C.V.Raman. We also celebrated this day in our school. Teachers told the importance of science and how it is used in our day to day life. Our little scientists were excited while performing experiments on science concepts like floating sinking, hot cold, dry wet, Taste etc. They also visited our school science laboratory. It was fun filled learning experience for them.
Marathi Bhasha Divas
Marathi Bhasha Divas was celebrated on 27th February in our school. Our teachers told importance of this day as it’s a birth anniversary of Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar who is popularly known as “ Kusumagraj”. Our students learn Marathi letters and they enjoyed playing games related to Marathi letters. They also walked on Marathi letters and numbers. The main focus of this celebration is to promote and sustain the richness of Marathi culture among young generation.
Teaching -Aid Exhibition
It was organised on 24th February (Saturday)2024. The theme for this exhibition was “Resonance in Silence”. Subject wise display and games were arranged in the classes. Some of our SR. KG students perform the skit on ‘Germination’. Our tiny tots enjoyed the games with their parents. All enjoyed the exhibition and it was a great learning experience for them. The exhibition was based on the play way method. All teachers prepared games related to Eye Hand Coordination, Gross Motor Skills, to activate both the hands and brains at the same time.
Shivjayanti
We celebrated birth anniversary of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in our school on 16th February (Friday) with great enthusiasm and energy. Teachers put up display of the same. Our little worriers wore dressed up as Shivaji Maharaj, Jijamata, Shahaji Raje, Sambhaji Raje, Saibai, Soyarabai, Dadoji Konddev and all Maratha sardars and brave Mavalas. They felt proud by wearing attire of famous personalities. Teacher explained importance of this day and about life of Shivaji Maharaj. Our little students delivered speech on their respective characters. Lastly they all cried out “Shivaji Maharaj ki jay”. All were very happy and enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
Picnic at Darekar Wada Agro Tourism
Picnic provides a great opportunity for students to cherish wonderful experience and can contribute significantly to their personal development. So school had organized a picnic on 30th January 2024( Tuesday) at Darekar Wada Agro Tourism. Girl’s enjoyed Bullock Card ride and Tractor ride. They visited Darekar Wada and saw the statues of Shri Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj , Life style of villagers, cow, calf dog and puppy. They enjoyed at play area and adventure games. They also watched Magic show. They liked breakfast and lunch. Students enjoyed a picnic enthusiastically and went home happily.
Interschool Drawing Competition
On the occasion of 26th January, our school had organised Interschool drawing competition for the first time in our school. We got huge response from the other schools. Students participated in large numbers. This competition was conducted for Pre-Primary to 8th Std. students . Subjects for the drawing competition was given according to the age group category. For our Pre primary students subject was colouring ‘The Peacock’. Students participated for this competition in large numbers. They really enjoyed colouring the Peacock drawing, Food stalls and playing with toys. The day ended with prize distribution ceremony and happy memories.
Bornhan
“Bornhan” is a traditional ceremony for good health of children celebrated in India. Our school had this ceremony for the 1st time on 16th January 2024. “Bornhan” means showering the little children with different dry and healthy items such as Churmure, Bor, Pieces of Carrots & Sugarcane, Chocolates, Biscuits etc. Bornhan is done to protect the kids from the changing climate. Our little girls came to school in excitement, wearing black colour traditional dresses & “हलव्याचे दागिने”. Our Principal, all teachers and Tai mixed all the items together and shower on little girls. Girls were very excited to collect their favourite items such as chocolates and biscuits from the mixture. They thoroughly enjoyed this ceremony.
Makar Sankrant Celebration
“Makar Sankrant” is major harvest festival of India. It is celebrated in the month of January every year. In our school we celebrated this festival on 16th January 2024. Teachers put on the display of Makar sankrant. All students and teachers came dressed in black colour. Teacher explained the importance of this festival to the children. Farmers pray to lord Sun on this day for good crop. This festival teaches us to be thankful to nature for providing us all the necessary things that help us to grow and stay healthy. Teacher explained that as the weather changes food habits also change. We should eat food like jaggery, Til, Rice, Moong dal, Sugarcane etc to keep ourselves healthy. Activities related to the festival were also held in the classroom. Our students flew kites on the school playground. Tilgul was distributed to all students.
Black Colour Day and Diamond shape
We celebrated Black colour day on 16th January 2024. Diamond shape was also introduced on the same day. Teachers put the display of Black colour and Diamond shape objects. All students, teachers, Tai wore Black colour dresses and sarees. Black colour objects like helmet, dupatta, comb, Tiffin, necklace, Black Til, hair band were shown to the children. Diamond shape objects like kite were also shown. Activities related to same were also held in the respective classrooms.
Grandparents Day & Bonfire
Grandparents are family’s strong foundation. Grandparents keep a family close at heart through their special love & care. Our school celebrated Grandparents Day on 12th January(Friday) to honour them. Program was started with a warm welcome for the grandparents. Many exciting games were conducted for them such as musical chair, ball game, making puppets and many more. The grandparents enjoyed all the games and activities. They also shared their experiences related to school. Our Sports teacher conducted very good session of laughter yoga exercises for the grandparents. It really helps to relieve stress and gives relaxation. All of them enjoyed this session with their grand-daughters. Later, all our students and grandparents enjoyed the snacks. Grandparents also enjoyed selfie point with their grand-daughters. At the end , all enjoyed bonfire on the school playground. Some of them showed their talent of singing and enjoyed dancing with their grand-daughters. The day was memorable for our little girls as well as their grandparents, who left the evening with pleasant memories, lots of appreciation and blessings to the teachers, School and management.
Fancy Dress Competition
A Fancy Dress Competition was conducted by our school on 11th January (Thursday) to enhance creativity & imagination and to build confidence among students. This competition provided a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their talent. Theme for the competition was as per the standards: 1) Nursery – Cartoon 2) JR.KG - Fruits 3) SR.KG- Stationery.
All students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed a lot. Their innocent words and stage presence won the hearts of teachers and judges.

Sports help in development of mental and physical health. It boosts self confidence in children. It also teaches students teamwork, cooperation & Unity. Food Activity
Food activity develops children’s fine motor skills, concentration & eye-hand coordination skills. So we conducted “Papad chat activity“ in the school on 5th January(Friday). All students brought roasted Papad , Chopped Onion & Tomato from home. Moreover we also showed the students how to roast papad on coal shegadi. Our little chefs got ready for the food activity by wearing Chef’s cap and Aprons. They enjoyed making process of “Papad Chat”. They liked it very much.
Christmas Celebration
To spread the magic of love, joy and happiness, our girls celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm. It was celebrated on 24th December. All Our students came in red and white colour dresses. Our teachers put on very beautiful display for the Christmas. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. Our little girls were overjoyed to see Santa in their classes. They shook their hands with Santa Claus and wished him Merry Christmas. Santa distributed gifts among the girls. Cupcakes were also distributed to the girls. Our little girls enjoyed the cupcake and had lots of fun. Various activities were also conducted in respective classes.
Red Colour Day and Star shape
We celebrated Red colour day on 24th December and Star shape was also introduced. Our teachers put up the display of both. All students and teachers came in red colour. Various Red colour objects were shown to the students by the teacher like an Apple, tomato, Watermelon, bucket, bottle, Ball, necklace etc .Star shaped objects were also shown like star, starfish, ear-rings etc. Our students also brought some objects. Our students enjoyed the activities of Red colour and Star shape.
Session on Good Touch and Bad Touch
School had organized a session on Good Touch and Bad Touch for students on 23rd January 2024. Dr.Ashwini Pandit (Child Counsellor) gave information of good touch and bad touch to students and make them aware of it. She showed some pictures related to it and explain difference between good touch and bad touch. The session was very interactive for students.
Annual Gathering & Annual Feast 2023-24
It was a time to celebrate students’ hard work and dedication. To recognize the talent of our little angels & reward them for their achievements, Annual Gathering was organised on 15th December 2023 by our school. The theme for this year gathering was ‘PERSEVERANCE” which means Hard work, Efforts & Dedication for the victory. This theme was dedicated to Sports. Our girls showed the evolution of sports from old days till date by their wonderful performances. Our little girls showed their talent on the stage and perform enthusiastically. After the event, students were provided with delicious annual Feast on 18th December. It was girls favourite Pav Bhaji and Gulabjamun. They enjoyed this delicious Feast.

Brown Colour Day and Oval shape
We celebrated Brown colour day on 30th November (Thursday). Oval shape was also introduced on the same day. Our teachers put display of Brown colour and oval shape. All our students, teachers came dressed up in brown colour. Various brown colour and oval shape objects were displayed and our students also brought some brown colour and oval shape objects. Our girls enjoyed the activities related to brown colour and oval shape.
Huzurpaga KridaKarandak 2023-24
This year Maharashtra Girls’ Education Society had organised Huzurpaga KridaKarandak. It was an inter school competition. Various sports games were organised by the school. 3 games were conducted for our little champs. Relay Race, Ball Pass and Obstacle Race. Our little athletes played in an excellent way in the competition.
Republic Day Celebration
The Constitution of India was come into force on 26th January 1950. We celebrated this day as National Festival of India every year. In our school we celebrated Republic day on 25th January (Thursday). Our teachers told the importance of this day, our leaders and their sacrifices for the country to the students. Activities were also conducted by the teachers in respective classrooms.
Savitribai Phule Jayanti
Every year on 3rd January we celebrate Savitribai Phule Jayanti in the school. Savitribai Phule was one of the first female teacher, a social reformer and poet in India. In Maharashtra along with her husband she played a vital role in improving women’s rights. She was born on 3rd January 1831. She opened a school for girls with the help of Jyotirao Phule. Some of the students dressed up as Savitribai Phule. Teachers gave information about Savitribai Phule and showed a short video clip of her struggle for girl education.
Teachers' Training
Huzurpaga Girls’ English Medium consist of well-trained experienced and dedicated teaching staff , administrative staff and supporting staff . Our teachers including principal constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops and various training programmes. This year we had arranged “Stress Management” training by Dr. Ashwini Pandit and her assistant Smt. Shivani Kulkarni.
Children’s Day Celebration
Every year we are celebrating “Children’s Day” on 14th November. This day is also celebrated in honour of the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who was fondly called “Chacha Nehru” or “Chachaji” by children, he had a special connection with them and was always affectionate in their company. Due to Diwali Vacations on this occasion school had organized many online activities filled with fun so that students tend to enjoy them. “Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru pinned a fresh rose to his coat every day. One of our SR.KG. student dressed up as Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and gave a short speech on the same. As this is virtual Children’s Day celebration, parents sent photo and video of her speech on WhatsApp Group. Due to Diwali Vacations teachers sent a PDF of Rose flower on respective WhatsApp group, told parents to take a print out of it, colour the flower from the students and send Photo of it on the group. The next activity to send Family photo of the students celebrating Diwali with their relatives, making fort with the friends, lantern making or Bursting of Firecrackers with their family member and told them to express their feelings in 2 to 3 sentences about this activity. Though there were Diwali Vacations and most of the parents were out of station we received a huge response from the parents for this Online Children’s Day Celebration and they enjoyed both the activities enthusiastically.Thank you, parents for their support and participation.
Deepotsav - 2023
“Light is the symbol of divinity & knowledge to spread and share the light of knowledge and happiness. “MGE Society's, Huzurpaga Girl’s English Medium School, Katraj celebrated Deepotsav for the days on account of Diwali on 7th November 2023(Tuesday). This was the first Deepotsav at Mangdewadi Campus. The whole building was decorated with different colours of Lights, LED lights and Lanterns. To celebrate this festival of light this year, Maharashtra Girls’ Education society’s honourable society members Smt. Shalini Patil, Smt. Himani Gokhale, Smt. Rekha Palshikar, Shree. RamakantSonawani Sir, Shree. Vilas Patil Sir, Shree. LaxmikantMundada Sir, Shree. Dr. Sunil Jagtap Sir, Smt. Usha Wagh, Smt. Jayashree Bapat, Smt. Aabha Karandikar etc. , Principals from various sections of Huzurpaga family, Society and Ex-students from 1973 Mogara Phulala (10th Std. Passed out ) batch were present for this Deepostav. We welcomed all the guest with our traditional folk dance form i.e. Lezim and gifted them saree pin designed with Mogara flower. They all were surprised and happy by this different type of welcoming method. Super girls of 1973 MogaraPhulala batch celebrated the festival of light with great joy and devotion. Fort making and Lantern making competition were organised for parents and rangoli making competitions for students. Smt. Shalini Patil President of M.G.E. society expressed her valuable words towards the present members and wished everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali. Ex- Student of Huzurpaga Smt. Nilima Walame appreciated to all dignitaries, Teachers, Parents, students present on this day and wishes all for the Diwali festival. All dignitaries and present members were lighted diyas on the name written as ‘Huzurpaga’ on the play ground. The whole program was organised under the supervision of Smt. Kirti Pandit madam (Principal of Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Katraj Sectio), Smt. Dipti Kulkarni madam (Principal of Pre-Primary Katraj Section) and Smt. Arpita Kulkarni madam (Supervisor). Principal Smt. Kirit Pandit madam expressed her gratitude towards the present committee members, MogaraPhulala batch students and blessed the students from our school with great success, prosperity, good health and to celebrate an Eco Friendly Diwali. All members enjoyed this Deepotsav with enthusiasm.
Diwali Celebration
Diwali is one of the greatest festival of India. This year we celebrated Diwali festival on 6th November 2023(Monday). Teaches put a display of six days of Diwali I.e. Vasubaras, Dhanateras, Narak Chaturdashi, Laxmi Poojan, Padwa and Bhaubijetc, and narrated stories related to same as well as gave information about all these days to students. Teachers decorated classrooms, soft boards and all the premises of school with hanging lantern, diyas and rangoli etc. Teachers put idols of Shivaji Maharaj along with his Mavalas on the fort. Students made greeting cards on the post cards and posted in the letterbox. Teacher wrote address of respective students on the postcard and posted it in the Katraj Post office. Students also decorated diyas with the help of teachers. School had given Chiwada and Ladoo as the Diwali Faral to each student. Children came in party wear dress and enjoyed this Diwali celebration a lot.
Medical Health Check Up
Health is the very important factor of student so every year school had organized Medical Health check up for Pre-Primary students. For the Academic Year 2023-2024 it was done on 31st October 2023(Tuesday). Dr.Sunil Jagtap from Saisneha Hospital, Dhankwadi and their team of Doctor’s visited the school and did the check-up of students. During this check-up they observed the Pulse Rate, Eyes, Tongue, Teeth etc. of the students.
Father-Daughter Competition
Father-Daughter relationship is a unique and special bond that holds immense significance in a child’s life. To strengthen this bond our school had arranged Father-Daughter competition on 28th October(Saturday). The theme for this competition was “Get ready for the party”. In this competition the fathers had to make their daughters ready for the party. All the participants were keen and excited for the competition. The fathers were fully prepared with all make up accessories. They did a good job of making their daughters ready. Everyone really enjoyed it.
Kojagiri Poornima, White Colour Day and Rectangle Shape
We celebrated Kojagiri Pournima and White colour day on 27th October(Friday) in our school. White colour display was put up by all our teachers. All our little girls and teachers wore white colour dress and sarees. Teacher shown various white colour objects like stars, Moon,Milk,flowers, eraser, tiffin, necklace and also shown some white colour grocery items like sugar, salt, rice etc. Rectangle shape was also introduced on the same time. Teacher explained the significance of Kojagiri Pournima to the children.Kojagiri Pournima is celebrated on Full moon light. The day is dedicated to Goddess Lakhmi. The word Kojagiri means who is awake. On this day vessel filled with milk is left under the rays of Moon and later consumed. Our little girls also enjoyed Masala Milk as a Prasad. White colour day activity was also taken in the respective classrooms.
Bhondala, Khandenavami and Saraswati Poojan
Bhondala is a Marathi festival traditionally celebrated by girls or women. We also celebrated this festival on 23rd October (Monday). The girls were dressed in the colourful ‘Ghagara Cholis’ which added to the festive mood. The girls enjoyed Bhondala songs with their teachers, going around an elephant in a circle. The students along with teachers danced to the beat and tunes of Dandiya also.
Ayudh puja or Khandenavami is part of Navaratri festival which is celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri. We celebrated Khandenavami by worshipping our books, charts, toys, musical instruments, sports equipment.
The importance of Navratri and Dussehra was explained by our teachers. Activities also taken in the classroom. Goddess Saraswati is a goddess of knowledge and wisdom.They coloured the picture of Goddess Saraswati and do the pooja and worship. The day ended with the small treat for the girls as a ‘Khirapat’. It was a fun filled day for all our girls.
Doll’s Wedding
Doll’s wedding was newly organized joyful and entertaining event by our school. This event was conducted on 20thOctober 2023(Friday) . Preparation for the dolls wedding was executed nicely by all our teachers. Our little girls wore nice traditional attire for the wedding. Students also brought their decorated dolls and some parts of ‘Rukhwat’. This Doll’s wedding event was happily completed by performing all the rituals like ‘Haladi ceremony’, ‘Mehendi Ceremony’ , ‘Sangeet Ceremony ‘. This event was enjoyed fully by all our students as well as teachers.
Bail Pola
Bail-Pola is a Bull-worshipping festival celebrated by farmers mainly in Maharashtra. We celebrated this festival in our school on 13th October (Friday). Display was put up by all our teachers. Students also brought their decorated ‘Nandi Bail’. Teacher gave information about this festival, how farmers celebrate this harvest festival. On the day of Pola, farmers decorate and worship their bulls. Bulls are a symbol of hard work and are known as farmer’s best friends.This festival highlights the role of a bull in agriculture and their importance to the farmers. Visit to ‘Khopadewada’ was also planned by the school to show our children how farmers decorate their bulls and worship on this day. It was an enjoyable live experience for our students.
Gandhi Jayanti
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on 3rd October (Tuesday) in our school. Display was put up by the teachers. Teacher gave information about the life of Mahatma Gandhi. One of our Nursery students came dressed up as Mahatma Gandhiji and gave a short speech. Children got inspired after knowing about Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti School had organised drawing competition. Students drew and coloured beautiful drawings.
Foundation Day - Sports Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony

On 2nd October 2023 M.G.E. Society celebrated 139th Foundation Day enthusiastically. Our school Annual Magazine Liitle Angels’ received 2nd Consolation Prize for the Academic year 2022-2023. Our student Bhairavi Deshpande performed her Natyachhata in front of the all Society Members and all members present on that day.
Pink Colour Day and Triangle Shape
Pink colour day was celebrated on 27th September 2023(Wednesday). Our little girls were dressed up in their favourite colour Pink. All teachers and Tai also wore pink dress and sarees. Beautiful pink colour display was put up by the teachers. Teachers shown pink colour objects to students like Pink Lotus, Purse, Teddy Bear toy, Napkin, Cap, crayon etc. Teacher also introduces Triangle shape and shown triangle shape objects such as Tiffin, Cap, Samosa etc. Activities also conducted in the classrooms.
Shloka Competition:
Chanting Shlokas activated the mind, boosts concentration power and sharpens the memory. It helps to keep Respiratory system healthy. Shloka completion has been conducted in our school on 26th September 2023(Tuesday).

Ganapati Celebration
Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10 day festival which is celebrated all over India with joy and full devotion. We celebrated this festival on 20th September (Wednesday). Lord Ganesh is the lord of wisdom and knowledge. Chandrayan-3 is a beautiful decoration was made in the school by our teachers. Children came in beautiful traditional attire. Principal madam performed the Pooja and aarti was done by our SR. KG, JR. KG and Nursery students. Teacher gave the information and activities were conducted in the classrooms. Modak was given as a Prasad. Celebration was done with lot of enthusiasm.
Food Activity
Food Activity helps children to increase their concentration, self confidence, listening skills and many more such qualities. Our school had organised Sprout Bhel Activity for our little chefs on 4th August (Friday) 2023. Children brought chopped tomato, onion, some boiled sprouts and corn with them. Our little chefs were ready with apron and chefs’ cap with great enthusiasm. Yessss....finally healthy , tasty and Yummy sprout bhel is ready! Teacher explained importance of eating healthy sprouts to children. Our Tai served healthy sprout Bhel to children. They liked it a lot and enjoyed the activity. This activity inspired them to prepare sprout bhel at home as well.
Huzurpaga Kala Karandak 2023-2024
M.G.E Society (Maharatshtra Girls’ Education Society) organised ‘ Huzurpaga Kala Karandak’ Inter- school competition first time this year to provide exposure and platform for young kids. This competition got overwhelmed response. It was conducted in the month of September. Students from many schools had participated & showed their talent in various arts such as drama, music, etc. This competition was a huge success. All our little students performed really well. Our SR KG student Bhairavi Deshpande won 2nd prize in Natyachhata competition. Smt. Manasi Joshi (Asst. Teacher) from our school had also participated in the Natyachhata which was held for Teaching Staff.
Interschool Competition for the Academic Year 2023-2024
Progressive Education Society had organized ‘Poojaniya Dadasaheb Ekbote Interschool Sanskrit Shloka Competition’ for the Academic Year 2023-2024. Tilak Punyatithi
Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar punyatithi(Death Anniversary) was on 1st August( Tuesday). Teachers gave information about the life of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Sr KG student came dressed up like Tilak and gave short speech on Lokmanya Tilak. one of our students narrated story of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. The famous story was “Me shenga khallya nahit. Me turfale uchalanar nahi “ and it gave the message to all the student that “ konavarahi anyay karayacha nahi. Ani anyay sahan hi karayacha nahi”. After knowing about Lokmanya Tilak Students inspired from him. And it reminds them about our great leaders contribution towards India’s freedom struggle.
Teachers’ Day Celebration
It is celebrated on 5th September every year in India as it is the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was an excellent teacher. Teacher told the importance of Teacher’s Day on this occasion. Our 1st Std. students taught to SR.KG. students and Sr.KG. students to JR.KG. and Nursery students.
Sanskrit Day
Sanskrit is the first among the ancient languages spoken in India. Like Marathi and English we should also know Sanskrit language. Sanskrit language is known as mother of all languages. We celebrated world Sanskrit day on 1st September (Friday) . Our teacher gave information about Sanskrit language. On same time teachers shown and translated many English concepts in Sanskrit language like numbers 1 to 10, sensory organs, seasons etc.
Rakshabandhan
It is a festival that celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. We celebrated rakshabandhan on 28th August(Monday) in our school. Beautiful rakhi display was put up by the teachers. Our little girls came in beautifulcolour dresses and brought rakhi with them. They tied rakhi to our security guards , to our teachers and our Tai. Students also enjoyed rakhi making activity. They also liked eating ‘Naral Barfi’. This rakshabandhan celebration was enjoyed by all the students
Parents Session
Our School had organised a parenting session on 19th August (Saturday)2023. The speaker Smt. Amruta Tikhe is a child counsellor. She started the session by narrating a story with gestures and voice modulations. She also conducted a song with actions for parents. She gave an important guidance to all parents regarding parenting, child’s fine motor skills and how to handle them with love and care. Responses from parents were positive. They found this session helpful and got handful of ideas regarding good parenting & the ways to spend quality time with their children.
Orange Colour Day and Square Shape
Orange colour day was celebrated on 31st August (Thursday). And square shape was introduced on the same day. Our little girls were dressed up in shades of orange colour. Beautiful orange colour display was put up by the teachers. Children also brought some orange colour objects from their homes like Spoon, napkin, eraser, pen etc. Square shape was introduced by putting up objects which had a square shape such as carrom, clock, Tiffin, toy blocks and many more. Activities were conducted in respective classrooms.
Nagpanchami
We celebrated Nagpanchami Festival in our school on 17th August (Thursday) 2023. Beautiful display was put up by the teachers to show students how we celebrate Nagpanchami traditionally. Teacher gave information about the festival. Teacher also told the story of Nagpanchami. It is our duty to take care of snakes because it helps our farmers. On account of this festival original anthill (Snake home) were shown to the students by the teachers. Activities were conducted in respected classrooms. Students made various types of snakes from the clay. Our little girls enjoyed the yummy delicious ‘Puran’ in their lunch. Students from higher classes drew beautiful ‘Mehendi’ Designs on the hands of the little girls. Our little girls also played traditional games like Zimma and Fugadi. They liked it and enjoyed it a lot.
Mother-Daughter Competition
An activity had been organised by the school to increase the marvellous bond between mothers and their daughters. This event took place on 12th August (Saturday) 2023. This event consisted of a competition activity in which both a mother and a child together had to decorate the Soft Board borders. All of the decorations made by them were unique and beautiful. The students as well as their mothers enjoyed this activity. This made to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters.
Maida Dough Activity
We had given hands on experiences activity to all students i.e Maida Dough. This activity is good to develop concentration, fine motor skills. Students made different objects of it along with their teachers like Ganpati, balls, snakes, butterfly, Bhatukali etc. Students enjoyed a lot.
Kranti Din
Kranti Din or Quit India Movement day is celebrated on 9th August in our school.The Quit India Movement is also known as August Movement or ‘Bharat Chodo Andolan’. Qiut India Movement was started by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942.Our Students came to school by dressed up as freedom fighters like Zashichi Rani, Lokmanya Tilak, Neharu, Subhashchandra Bose. Teacher gave information about Quit India Movement and our freedom fighters.
Khopade Wada Visit (Beltung Wada)
School believes in giving all round development to the students. So school had organised Khopade(Beltung) Wada Visit on 21st July ( Friday)2023. In the visit children got opportunity to see and experience ancient culture & life style of the people. By the entrance they got to see the structure of doors was made for safety of the people. Statues of various Gods made up of different elements were displayed in the Wada. Different types of ancient utensils like pots, Kadhai, Hande, different diyas was also there to see. Children found deep interest in the ancient weapons like swords, shields & armour. Owner M. Nana Khopade guided all the students and gave information about the Wada. He gave information about ancient culture and lifestyle. He showed & explained Coins and Medals of various material, sizes and shapes. Beautiful paintings were also seen. This visit to khopade wada was deeply enjoyed by all the students.
Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day celebration was held on 14th August (Monday) 2023. Teacher explained importance of Independence Day 15th August. India became free and independent nation on 15th August 1947. Teacher also gave information about our national flag, importance of Tri colour and how it should be respected. All the teachers, Tai and students sang The National Anthem. An activity was also conducted in the respected classrooms. Children drew National Flag and coloured it.
Emoji Day
World Emoji Day is celebrated on 17th July every year. We also celebrated Emoji day in our school. Emojis are character which have ability to diplay facial expressions, tone of voice, human gestures in digital communication. On account of World Emoji Day children participated in lot of activities. They made wonderful stick puppets and drew various types of emojis. Different kinds of emojis were displayed on the soft board. Children also try to imitate those adorable emojis. They enjoyed all the activities.
Field Trip
There are number of field trip opportunities for our students throughout the year. All these trips are intentionally designed by our school to extend learning beyond classrooms. Our school trip was arranged on 29th August ( Tuesday) 2023 at Ambavde Bhor. We visited the great aspect of nature ‘The necklace point’ enroute to Ambavde. Our little girls visited ancient shiv temple at Ambavde which had beautiful structure. This temple was surrounded by beautiful and various types of trees where the students enjoyed a small nature trail. After lunch we visted ‘Jedhe Wada’. Over there, we saw how the structure of the house used to be in the old times, beautiful portrait of Kanhoji Jedhe, old weapons etc were seen. Our little girls enjoyed this field trip and got exposure to ancient architecture specimens.
Deep Pujan
Ashadhi Amavsya is considered as Deep Amavasya. We celebrated Deep Pujan on 17th July (Monday) 2023 in our school. Display of different diyas was put up in the school like Laman diva, Samai, Panati, Niranjan etc. Teachers also put the display of other diyas like deepmal, battery, kandil, bulb etc. Our Principal lightened the Samai and other lamps. Teachers gave information about our tradition and importance of “ Deep Pujan” to students. Students also brought different diyas. All the students prayed and recite “Shubham Karoti Kalyanam”.
Dahi Handi Celebration
It celebrates in the Marathi month Shravan on Krishna Paksha Ashtami. Janmashtami celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna. We place Laddu Gopal in one small cradle and celebrate his birthday. Teacher gave information about the same to all students. Story of Krishnajanma was told by teacher. This year the theme was Vegetables and Fruits. We put a display of Vegetables and Fruits along with Krishna. Teacher told importance of vegetables and fruits to our students. Principal Ma’am perform the pooja. The members of Dahi Handi Team and our little ‘Govinda’ cracks Vegetables and Fruits Dahi Handi. Dadpe- pohe was given as a prasad to all students on this occasion.
Blue Colour Day and Circle Shape
We celebrated Blue colour day and Circle shape on 31st July (Monday)2023 in our school. All students, teaching and non-teaching staff came in Blue colour dress and sarees. Display of Blue colour objects was put up. Students had also brought some blue colour objects with them like Tiffin, necklace, handkerchief, sharpener etc. Different circle shape objects were put up and teachers introduced the “Circle shape” to the students. Ball, ring, bangles, clock, bindi etc. Were shown to the students. Teachers also conducted different activities for the same. Students drew circle shape and coloured it with blue colour.
Orientation Meeting
Orientation Meeting for the Academic Year 2023-2024 was conducted on 8th July 2023 (Saturday). Welcome speech and introduction of Smt. Dipti Kulkarni Principal of Pre-Primary Section was given by Smt. Yogita Joshi. General Rules and Regulations of the school were explained to parents during this meeting.
Purpose of Executive Committee and Transport Committee was explained by Smt. Nilima Walame. Executive Committee Members and Member of Transport Committee were elected at the same time. Executive Committee formation for the Academic Year 2023-2024 was done at the time of Orientation Meeting.

Guru Pournima
Guru pournima or Vyas pournima is the day to celebrate and express our gratitude to our ‘Gurus’. This full moon day in the month of Ashadh is one of the auspicious day of the year in Hindu calendar. We celebrated guru pournima on 4th July (Tuesday). Principal Ma’am offered flowers to photo of Guru “Vyas”. Manasi teacher gave information about guru pournima and narrated story of “Dhoumya Rishi & Aruni”to the students.
Rain Walk
“बारीश आयी बारीश आयी छम छम छम लेकर छाता निकले हम”. Rain walk activity was conducted on 28th June 2023(Wednesday). Students enjoyed the moments of their rain activity by jumping in puddles and walking in the rain. Sight of the beautiful nature made this experience memorable for them.
Palkhi
Palkhi was celebrated on 27th June 2023(Tuesday). Palakhi celebration is unique feature of Maharashtrian culture. Like every year this year also it was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. The theme was “Traffic Rules”. Teachers made slogans on the theme such as “Follow Traffic Signals”, “Use Zebra Crossing”, “Use Helmet” etc. Students participated in procession as ‘Vitthal-Rukmini’ and in ‘Warkari’ getup. Mrs.Yogita Joshi told the information about it. Rajgira Wadi was given as prasad. Activity also conducted in the classroom
International Yoga Day
Yoga helps to develop flexibility and strength in our body, happiness and peace in our mind. We had celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023(Wednesday). Our P.E. teacher conducted yoga session with different sitting and standing poses of yoga. Students wore white T-shirt and black track pant on the occasion of Yoga Day. All the students had done it enthusiastically
Green Colour Day
To know the specific colour by the students, we are going to conduct different colour days every month. This month we celebrate Green colour day on 30th June (Friday). All the students, teachers and non teaching staff wore green colour dresses and sarees. Display was put up in the school premises with green colour objects. Some green colour vegetables like Capsicum, ladyfinger, Chilli, Beans, Fenugreek, Spinach, Curry Leaves etc. and some toy animals like Frog, Grasshopper, Caterpillar etc. displayed on the table. Some stationary items such as Paper, file, pen sharpener etc was also kept. Students also brought some green colour objects from their home. Students brought green colour snacks in tiffin. Activities were conducted in the classroom.
1st Day of school
School reopens on 19th June 2023 (Monday). Principal and all the teachers welcomed to all the students by doing “Aukshan” and give them Pedha. Hand craft stars given to them with the message “Ready to shine” written on it. Take away activity had taken in respective classes. Nursery class Head Gear, Junior KG class Wrist band & Senior KG class Fish with fan fold activity had taken. All the students were happy and enjoyed the 1st day of school.
Annual Social Gathering
It’s a time for celebration and recognition of the students as well as the school’s achievements. Students show case their talents, overcome stage fear, gain confidence and learn to collaborate in this event. It was organized on 30th January 2023, Monday. Theme for Annual Social Gathering was “Saturnian Age” means “Golden era of Music” All students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed. Our little ones did the anchoring also. The feast Puri-Bhaji, Shrikhand, Fryms and rice was given to all students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Black colour day and Diamond Shape
Students, teaching and non- teaching staff dressed up in black colour. Teachers and tais put up the display of black colour objects as well as diamond shape objects. Example helmet, shoes, comb, elephant etc. Black colour objects Kite, wooden diamond shape objects etc. Teachers conducted activities related for the same.
Father - Daughter Competition
The love between a father and a daughter is forever. Fathers’ play a key role in their daughter’s psychological development, when fathers are parent in their daughters’ lives, girls grow up with a healthy sense. Food is something. We all love and enjoy. Considering this, school had organized father- daughter competition. ‘Cooking without fire’ on 7th January 2023, Saturday. All participants made different dishes like Bhel, sandwiches, dahi-wada, sprouted bhel etc. and students’ involvement with their father was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed it.
Food Activity
It helps children to increase their skills like fine motor skills, eye-hand co-ordination, concentration etc. So, school had conducted food activity for our little chefs. Nursery and JR KG students made “Monaco Topping” on 17th February 2023, Friday. SR KG students made “Roti” on rolling -pin on 20th February 2023, Monday. All our little chefs enjoyed a lot. They learnt hygiene while doing the activity.
Graduation Day
School had organised ‘Graduation Day’ on 11th April 2023 (Tuesday) for our little angels. All students wore the Graduation attire and participated in rally at Khopade Nagar. Our little graduates were awarded by medal, certificate and gift from honourable committee members of M.G.E. society and principals of different sections. The 4th edition of Magzine Little Angel’s (Born to Fly High…) was published on this day. JR.KG little angels wish them Good Luck by performing a dance and Primary students welcome them by performing Welcome Skit. This Graduation Day was a memorable day for our little angels and also for all of us.
Grandparents Day, Bonfire and Christmas Celebration
School had organized Grandparents Day, Bonfire and Christmas Celebration on 23rd December 2022(Friday). Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff put the display for all celebrations. Teachers gave the information about it and had arranged some games for Grandparents like Ring Game, Musical Chair, Lemon - Spoon, Rumal - Pani and Draw a Tail to elephant with Blind Fold. Santa Claus came and gave chocolates as a gift to all students. Then Grandparents enjoyed Bonfire along with their Grand - Daughter on the school play -ground. Some Grand - Parents shared their thoughts at the same time. Later on, they all had snacks. All Grand- Parents were enthusiastically enjoyed with their Grand - Daughter.
Ice- Cream Party
School had arranged Ice-Cream party for the students on 6th April 2023. Students wore party wear colourful dress. Danced and enjoyed a lot. They liked Mango Flavoured Ice- Cream.
Interschool Competition
Progressive Education Society had organized “Inter-school Sanskrit Shloka Competition” for the Academic Year 2022-2023. Our students from Nursery, JR.KG. And SR. KG. had participated in the same. It was great experience. Avani Davari, a JR.KG. Student received third prize in the same and got memento of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj award. Congratulations Avani. Keep it up!
Makar Sankranti Celebration
Makar Sankranti is a Hindu festival celebrated on the 14th /15th of January every year. It makes the end of the harvest season and the start of spring. Teachers gave the information about the celebration. Student, teaching and non -teaching staff came in black colour dress/sari. Teachers conducted the activities for the same. Students fly kites on the school ground. Til-gul was given to all students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Medical Health Check Up
International Health Day is celebrated on 3rd December every year. On this occasion, School had organized Medical Health Check - Up for Pre-Primary students. Dr. Rahul Kulkarni and Dr. Mitali Jathar did the check-up of students. They did counselling on the importance of Vaccines, Child Diet and different disease to all parents. After completion of check-up, they gave guidance to same parents regarding their ward’s health.
Picnic
Picnic provides a great opportunity for students to cherish wonderful experience and can contribute significantly to their personal development. So, school had organized a picnic on 9th December 2022, Friday at Baneshwar Agro Tourism. Girls’ enjoyed bullock Cart and Tractor - Ride. They enjoyed at play area. They visited at Baneshwar Temple. They watched magic show. They liked breakfast and lunch. Tattoo was put on each girls’ hand. They enjoyed a picnic enthusiastically.
Prize distribution Ceremony
School had conducted different competitions for our students as well as parents throughout the year. We need to appreciate all participants and winners. So, school had organized Prize distribution ceremony on 14th February 2023. It is important for encouraging the efficient working of a school. It generated new enthusiasm in the participants. Due to this, a strong link is established between the parents and the school.
Purple Day and Cone Shape
Teachers and tai’s dressed up in purple colour along with the students. Teachers, tai put the display of purple objects like Jamun, brinjal, etc. Teachers conducts the activities related to the same.
Teachers showed cone shape same objects like birthday cap, ice-cream cone, Santa claws cap, etc. to the students and introduced ‘cone’ shape to them. Teachers showed the display of it and conducted the activities.
Rangapanchami
Rangapanchami was celebrated on 6th March 2023 (Monday) very enthusiastically. Students played with yellow, red and green food colours. They enjoyed this festival a lot.
Red Colour Day and Star shape
Red colour day celebration and Star shape introduction was arranged on 22nd December 2022 Thursday. Teachers and Tai’s put the display of both along with students’ objects like apple, Strawberries, Cherries, Watermelon, Some Flowers for Red Colour display. Star shape objects like Star, Ear- rings, Model of Starfish, Leaves etc. Were put in the display. Teachers conducted the activities for both.
Session for parents
School had organized a session on parenting on 16th March 2023 (Thursday) for parents. The speaker Shri. Dinesh Nehete sir is a coach and counsellor Founder, Director of En-Reach Foundation and Founder partner at En-Reach Learning LLP. He addressed an informative guidance to all parents regarding awareness about child development for parents. During this session he told parents and family members about how to be with children so that they can behave, learn and enjoy their life. He showed the different slides explained the scientific knowledge about child’s learning process, its development stages, emotional development and its relation to discipline.
Teaching Aid Exhibition
It was organized on 4th March 2023, Saturday. The Theme for the exhibition was ‘Expertise Yourself’ learn with fun. The guest for the exhibition were Smt. Uma Palsule. She is expert in child education. Different games were displayed in the play shade and classes. Some of the students from SR.KG. dress up as community Helpers and told the information about it. Primary students also participated in this exhibition and also participated in this exhibition and our tiny- tots enjoyed the games with their parents. There was excellent response for Food Stall and Book Stall from parents and students. All enjoyed the exhibition. It was a real-life experience for all of them.
Yellow day and semi-circle shape
School had organized yellow colour day on 27th February 2023, Monday. Teachers and Tai’s put the display of yellow colour objects like rolling pin, smiley balls, sunflower, blocks, marker pen, twitty, car, sweet lime, etc. Techers conducts the activities of the same. Teachers introduce semi-circle shape to the students by showing some objects like piece of watermelon, sweet lime, and protractor, etc. Teachers and tai’s put the display of the same. Students colour semi-circle shape in yellow colour in their book.
Brown Colour Day and Oval Shape
Teachers gave the information about Brown Colour Day. They shown the display of Brown colour objects which were collected by students also eg. Coconut, Puppets of Lion, Monkey, Tortoise, Different Shapes etc. Students, Teaching and Non - Teaching Staff wore different shades of Brown Colour dress. Teachers conducted activities related to the same.
Teachers explained Oval Shape to the students by showing Oval shaped objects. Cutouts like Watermelon, Egg, Base -Ball, Mirror, Chickoo etc. Teachers conducted the activity of colouring Oval shape with Brown Colour Day.
Diwali
Teachers put the display of six days of Diwali (i.e.) Vasubaras, Narak Chaturdashi, Laxmi Poojan, Padwa and Bhaubij and gave the information about each day to the students. Teachers decorated classrooms, playshed with hanging diyas, lanterns, rangoli etc. Teachers put idols of Shivaji Maharaj along with his Mavalas on the fort. Students made Greeting Cards and decorated diyas with the help of teachers. Puri, Potato Bhaji and Shrikhand had given to all as a feast of Diwali Party. Children came in party wear dress and enjoyed a lot.
Fancy Dress Competition
Every year we are celebrating “Childrens’ Day” on 14th November, so on this occasion school had organized “ Fancy Dress Competition” for the students. It is not only learning with fun but also develops confidence in students by giving their own classmates. Children came dressed in their colourful costumes for each theme. Nursery - My Favourite Toy. JR.KG. - Shapes or Colours. SR. KG. Community Helpers. Children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed a lot.
Parents Fancy Dress Competition
School had organized Parents Fancy Dress Competition on Saturday 26th November 2022. The Parent - Child relationship is one that nurtures the Physical, Emotional and Social development of the child.It motivates to the students to develop their Creative Skills. The theme was “ Indian States”. The participants (I.e.) Father- Daughter and Mother - Daughter came dressed in different states costume and given excellent performances. They had shown extreme energy which filled the sphere with a great joy.
Sports Day
Sports experiences help building positive self- esteem in children. It helps to reduce stress and increase feelings of physical and mental well-being. So school had organized “Sports Day”on 28th and 29th November 2022. On 28th November Monday Sports Day Opening Ceremony was done by the Principal Madam Smt. Arpita Kulkarni. SR.KG. Bail Pola
It falls on the day of Bhadrapada Amavasya. It is a thanks giving festival celebrated by farmers to acknowledge the importance of bulls and oxen. They are crucial part of agriculture and farming activities. Teacher gave the information and narrated the importance to the students. Teacher shown the display and conducted activities regarding the same. Children enjoyed the same.
Bhondala
It starts from the first day of Navaratri and it is celebrated till kojagiri poornima. It is connected to the nature and is celebrated after the rains of Hasta Nakshatra that bring good crops. Model of elephant was placed in the middle and performed pooja by principal ma’am. Students walked around in a circle in rhythmic steps around the deity-elephant by singing traditional songs turn by turn. Bhel was made in the school and given to the students as ‘khirapat’ prepared. Girls’ enjoyed a lot.
Ganpati Celebration
It begins on the fourth day of Bhadrapada month (August-September). It is ten day festival marking the birth of the elephant-headed deity Ganesha, the god of prosperity and wisdom, within these ten days Lord Ganesha graces the Earth and brings happiness and prosperity to his devotes. Pooja performed by principal ma’am. Ganpati-aarti done by Nursery, JR. KG and SR. KG students. Teachers gave information and conducted the activities related to the same. Celebration done with zeel and enthusiasm. Modak was given as a prasad.
Parents Session

She gave an important guidance to all parent regarding parenting, fine motor skill, how to handle the little ones after corona pandemic situation etc. Her assistant Smt. Amruta Tikhe narrated a story with gestures and voice modulations as well as conducted a song with actions for parents. Parents response was excellent.
Pink day and Triangle shape
All teaching and non-teaching staff wore pink colour attire. Students also come in pink colour dress. Teachers shown the display of pink colour objects like lotus, rose, purse, sketch pen, crayon etc. Teachers conducted activity related to the same. Teachers put the display of triangle shape objects. Teachers explained the shape to the students and shown the display to them. All pre-primary students were colour triangle shape with pink colour.
Shloka Competition
Shloka chanting helps children to sharpen their intellect. Recitation enhances systematic breathing and supplies additional oxygen to the brain. So, school conducted these competitions on 8th September in the school.

Story telling Competition
On account of foundation day of M.G.E. Society, School had arranged story telling competition. First round was conducted on 15th September2022. Final round was conducted on 21st September 2022. It was conducted to build up the confidence in the children to stand in front of the crowd and narrate a story.

Training for teachers
Vidya Mahamandal Society’s, Sharada Balak Vihar, Pre-Primary Section was arranged a workshop for teachers. Our teachers were attended the same on 27th August 2022 (Saturday) and 01st September 2022. It was based on students Intellectual, Emotional, Social development and fine motor skills. The session was very informative.
White day and Rectangle shape
We had celebrated white colour day on 7th October 2022 (Friday). Students, teachers as well as non-teaching staff wore white colour dress or saree. Display was put up in the school of white colour objects like Sago, Semolina, Curd, milk, balls, moon, etc. Teachers conducted activities for the same. Teachers put the display of rectangle shape and shown the display to the students. She explained the difference between square and rectangle shape to the students. Teachers conducted the activities class wise.
Kojagiri Poornima
It is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. It falls on the full moon day of Ashwin month of Hindu Calender. Especially, families sit together at night and perform the pooja of moon and drink “Masala milk” as a Prasad. Teacher told the importance of Kojagiri Poornima. Masala milk was given to all.
A visit to “Babar Dairy”
Babar Dairy is a Goshala. It is a shelter for protecting and taking care of Cows. We had visited Babar Dairy to show Cows and Calves to the students and told them importance of Cow-Milk and Cow-Dung.
Blue Colour Day and Circle Shape
All students, Teaching and Non- Teaching staff come in Blue Colour dress and sarees respectively. Display of Blue Colour objects was put up. Students also brought blue colour objects and kept in the display e.g., Doraemon, Dolphin, Globe etc. Teachers were conductedactivities for the same.
Different circle shape objects were put up and teachers introduced the “Circle Shape” to the students. All students colour a circle with blue colour. Ball, Ring, Bangles, Pizza Base, Clock etc. objects were shown to the students.
Dahi Handi Celebration
It celebrates in the marathi month Shravan on Krishna Paksh Ashtami. It is also known as Gopal Kala and is celebrated on the next day of Janmashtami. Janmashtami celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna. We place Laddu Gopal in one small cradle and celebrate his birthday. Teacher gave the information about the same to all students. Some students dressed up as Radha- Krishna. Principal Ma’am perform the pooja. Story of Krishnajanma was shown through PPT. Primary students in-act on the same. The members of Dahi-Handi Team and our little ‘Govinda’ cracks Alphabet Dahi-Handi. Dadpe – pohe was given to all students on this occasion.
Deep-Poojan
It is celebrated on Deep- Amavasya. Students come in colour dress with different diyas. Different diyas display was put up like Laman Diva, Samai, Panati, Candle, Kandil etc. Teachers had drawn some different types of diyas on the Black-Board like Bulb, Battery, Deepmal, Nandadeep etc. Teachers told importance of “Deep- Poojan” to students and lightened the lamps. She taught the Shloka “ शुभंकरोती कल्याण्याम” ……to students.
Field – Trip (Katraj Dairy)
School believes in giving all round development to the students. So, the Field -Trip was organized to Katraj Dairy on 26th August 2022, Friday. The purpose of the visit was to understand the journey of a pouch of milk from the dairy to our home. They had shown a documentary regarding how the milk is important, how they are collecting milk from village farmers situated in Pune District and information about processing of milk and its products in Audio – Video room. After this the students visited the packaging of Milk, Ghee, Ice-Cream. The tour ended where everyone was treated with delicious Ice-Cream. All students enjoyed a lot. It is a great fun,
Food Activity-Corn Bhel
Food activity can help to build students self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits. They learn measuring, following a sequence, cause and effect. They develop their fine motor and eye-hand co-ordination skills. So, we had conducted “Corn Bhel” activity in the school. All students brought boiled Corn Grains, chopped Tomatoes and Onions from home. Our Little Chefs wore the kitchen apron and Chef’s Cap and add all these ingredients in a big bowl. Then added salt, sugar, chat masala and chopped coriander leaves in it and mix it well. Then garnish with ‘Shev’. Tai’s serve the “Corn-Bhel” to all the students. They liked it very much and they enjoyed the activity.
Independence Day
It is celebrated on 15th August every year to commemorate India’s freedom from the British Rule in 1947. This is the 75th Year (i.e.) Amrut Mahotsavi Year of Independence and the glorious history of India’s people, culture and achievements. The theme of this Year’s was “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat”, the Indian Flag for three days (i.e.) 13th,14th and 15th August 2022. Teacher gave the information about the same to all students and conducted the activities related to same. It was celebrated enthusiastically and with zeal.
Maida Dough Activity
We had given hands-on experience activity to all students i.e., Maida dough. This activity is a good to develop fine motor skills. Students made different objects of it along with their teachers like Balls, Snakes, Ladoos, Butterfly, Chakali, Teddy bear etc. Students enjoyed a lot.
Nagpanchami
It was celebrated on 1st August 2022 in the Marathi Month “Shravan”. Teachers put the display of the same. Teacher gave the information about Nagpanchami. Snakes are the best friends of the farmer as well as human being. Teacher narrated a story related to the same. Principal Ma’am performed the pooja. ‘Puran’ was given to all as a prasad. Students dressed up in traditional way. They played Zimma-Phugadiand enjoyed a lot. Primary section students applied Mehendi on Pre-Primary student’s palm.
Orange Day and Square Shape
Teachers gave the information about Orange Colour Day by showing the display of Orange Colour things like Pumpkin, Carrot, Orange, Marigold Flower, Papaya, Ball etc. Students, Teachers, and Non-Teaching Staff dressed up in different shades of Orange. Teachers conducted activities related to the same. Teachers explained the square shape things and drawn some objects on the blackboard. Then teacher showed the display of different square shaped objects like Mat, Book, Puzzles etc. to the students and conducted the activity for the same.
Rakhi Poornima
The significance of the festival is believed that when a woman ties a Rakhi around the hand of a man, it becomes obligatory for him to honour his religious duty and protect her. This year we do honour to “Police Constables” which are our parents also. Teacher gave information about Rakhi Poornima and the importance of Police in our life and told that they are friends of people, they work very hard day-night for us. Then our little angles tie the Rakhi to them, All students wore coloured dress and ties Rakhi to there friends in the class. Naralbhat was given to all students on this occasion. Teacher conducted Rakhi making activity for students.
Teachers Day Celebration
It is celebrated on 5th September every yearin India as it is the birth Anniversary of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was an excellent teacher. Teacher told the importance of the same day.On the occasion of the same day. On this our 1st Std. students were taught to our SR.KG. students and SR.KG. girls to our JR.KG. and Nursery girls.
Tilak Punyatithi
It is celebrated on 1st August every year. Teachers put the display of the same. Principal Ma’am performed the pooja. A SR.KG. student come in his attire and gave information about him. Teacher narrated the story related to “मी शेंगा खाल्ल्या नाहीत, मी टरफले उचलणार नाही” and gave message to all ‘कोणावरही अन्याय करायचा नाही व अन्याय सहनही करायचा नाही’.
1st Day JR.KG. And SR.KG.
After 2 years, School Re-opens in 2022-2023. JR.KG. and SR.KG.school Re-opened on 20th June 2022. 3rd Standard students dressed up in famous ladies like Savitiribai Phule, Aahilyabai Holkar, Jhansi chi Rani and Sarojini Naidu and welcomed to all students. Take away activities had taken. Students were happy to come back to school.
1st Day Nursery
After 2 years, School Re-opens in 2022-2023.Nursery school Re-opened on 15th June 2022. A 3rdstandard student dressed up as Savitribai Phule and Welcomed to all students. Take away activity had taken.
Teachers" Session by Shri Rajendra Bahalkar
School had organized one day workshop for Teachers by Shri. Rajendra Bahalkar Sir on 4th May 2022. Teachers learnt how to handle the kids in various stages of their growth. He had conducted games, action songs and activities for the teachers and surely they get a new way to look towards students.
Green Colour Day
Students come to know the specific colour so we are conducting different colour days every month. We had celebrated Green Colour Day on 30th June 2022 (Thursday) in the school. Students teaching as well as Non- Teaching Staff wore different Green Colour shades dress or sarees. Display was put up in the school of Green Colour objects in the display like some Vegetables Capsicum, Ladies Finger, Fenugreek, Coriander Leaves and Stationary things like Paper, Pen, Marker etc. Activities were conducted in the classroom.
Gurupoornima
Teacher"s gave information about Gurupoornima to the students. Principal Ma"am offered flowers to Phot of Guru "Vyas ". PPT had shown to all students of a story "भीमाचे"गर्वहरण".
Orientation Meeting
Orientation Meeting was conducted on 11th June 2022 (Saturday). Welcome speech was given by Yogita Joshi. Smt. Arpita Kulkarni Ma"am explained general Rules and Regulations to parents. Purpose of Executive Committee and Transport Committee were explained by Smt. Nilima Walame. Executive Committee formation was done at the same time.

Palkhi Celebration
PalkhiCelebration is a unique feature for the wonderful Maharashtrian culture. 6th Std, students performed a dance on Marathi Abhang "कानडाराजापंढरीचा". The theme was "ग्रंथदिंडी". Teacher"s made slogans on the same theme. Dipti Kulkarni gave information about "Aashadhi Ekadashi". Students participated in procession as Vitthal - Rakhumai and Warkari"s get up. Rajagira Ladu was given as a Prasad. Activity also conducted in the classroom.
Yoga Day
Yoga helps to develop flexibility and strength in our bodies, happiness and peace in mind, so we had celebrated Yoga Day on 21st June 2022 (Tuesday). Teachers conducted yoga session in their respective classrooms with different sitting and standing exercises. All students done it with enthusiastically.

आयुष्याचा महत्वाचा आणि प्रथम टप्पा म्हणजे शैक्षणिक पर्वाची सुरुवात. कोरोनाच्या प्रादुर्भावामुळे आम्हा सर्व पालकांमध्ये शंका होती की या पर्वाची सुरुवातच ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने होणार तर शिक्षक नवीन मुलांना ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने हाताळण्यात व शिकवण्यात यशस्वी होतील का? आणि त्याला आपली मुले दाद देतील का? पण आपण त्यांच्या या महत्वपूर्ण टप्प्याचे महत्व जाणून त्यांना उत्तम प्रकारे शिक्षण देण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहात. यावर आम्ही समाधानी आहोत. आजवर कधीही शाळा न पाहिलेल्या माझ्या मुलीला अचानक शाळा आहे म्हणून मोबाईल समोर बसवावे लागले. पण तुम्ही ओळख करण्यापासून ते विविध उपक्रम घेऊन मुलांना खिळवून ठेवण्याचा व त्यांना सहभागी करून घ्यायचा खूप छान प्रकारे प्रयत्न करीत आहात. माझी मुलगी अस्मी अजूनही याप्रकारे सेशनला दाद देत नाही पण मला खात्री आहे की आपल्या कौशल्यामुळे व एकूण सर्व नियोजित task द्वारे लवकरच तीही पूर्ण लक्ष देऊन सहभागी होईल.
आपल्या शिकवण्याच्या पद्धतीबद्दल व उपक्रमाबद्दल निलीमा टिचर, दिप्ती टिचर व हुजूरपागा संस्था सर्वांचे खूप खूप आभार व लवकरच हा कठीण काळ संपून शाळा सुरळीत चालू होवो ही प्रार्थना.
